Waiting for first Ultrasound
My name is Jessica and I'm new to this board and I have just made it through my two week wait.
My first U/S is Thursday December 6th. I am so excited and just crazy..... My RE told me that she has a hunch I may be with twins. Anyone else waiting for their ultrasound? I need some company! Thanks

Hi- adding to this post. My first u/s is Monday and I am excited yet cautious as I am sure it will be too early to see anything. But at least I can make sure it is in the right place and not tubal. I am expecting to see one sack since my betas correspond to having one bean in there. You know you think that the hardest wait is during the wait to find out if you are pregnant but it seems that each milestone you have to hit is just as agonizing of a wait. Even after Mondays u/s I will worry till I can see a heartbeat. Then again is there ever truly a time when you can relax during this whole process? Looking forward to swapping anxieties and u/s experiences!!

You are so lucky to have your U/S on Monday. I have to wait till Thursday.I don't know how I will get through the wait. I am so happy we have this site... I look forward to hearing all the U/S stories over the next two weeks. I know there are a lot of ladies waiting for that first ultrasound! Good luck to everyone

Hi guys
My first UTZ is 12/14- should be technically 6 weeks by LMP then so hopefully we see a heartbeat! I have my second official beta next Tues.  Sooo hard to wait for that UTZ!

Hey Girls!
I go tomorrow in the a.m. for my second beta. The doctor says I will then come in the following Monday for my first u/s 12/10. However, my DH is going out of town Sun. 12/9 and wants me to wait for him!!!! I'm so nervous and anxious I don't know if I could wait. What do you think? Would it be to early to ask for a earlier u/s before he leaves. I want him to be there.....just anxious and excited to see if they see one or two sacs!! Any advice will be great...thanks and good luck to you all!! ~Tisha

How soon do they normally schedule an appt for the 1st us? I have my second beta 12/3, hopefully mine will be soon after that. Hang in there!!!

My doctor said after my 2nd beta tomorrow 12/3 I come in a week later for my 1st u/s. Every dr. is diffrent I guess from reading some of the other posts. Good Luck tomorrow!!!! ~Tisha

I think one week after the second beta is typical for the ultrasound.
Mine is this Thursday and I will only be 5 weeks 2 days. I think they will only see a sac or two! I hope they see something by then. I think the week 6 ultrasound is when they look for the heartbeat. Good Luck with your second Beta Tomorrow! I think if you wait longer for the U/S you may get a heartbeat on the first scan!!!!!!! I know waiting is agonizing! I want August to be here already! I can't wait to hear all of the Ultrasound and Beta results! Good Luck God Bless Jess

My U/S is not until 12/11. I will be 6 weeks that day. They are hoping for a heartbeat and then to be able to release me to a regular OB.
I still feel nervous. Still feel like it is not real. I kind of feel like I am just waiting for something to go wrong. But I have faith that it will not and that in July I will be holding my new baby in my arms. Good... I hope!

I know exactly how you feel. I feel like I am just going through more treatments but I am not yet pregnant. Not until I see that/those heartbeats. Hang in there. I guess my 2nd U/S will be the 13th! Back from first u/s and there is one bean there! My RE said he would be really surprised if we saw the heartbeat and we didn't yet. Everything looks good- sac appropriate size, lining really thick and implantation in a good spot. Monday 12/10 I get my second u/s and he said we should get the heartbeat then.

My first u/s is tomorrow. I will be 6w5d by then, so I assume my doc likes to torture us
 I had my 2nd beta on 11/17, so tomorrow will be 2 weeks and 3 days since then. At least they should be able to see a heartbeat by then.
