I have been wondering if there are any women out there that have been on the Norplant? Most of my family have asked me if maybe there is a connection between the two.

I had it in my are for three years and never AF. They never said there would never be a regular cycle again.

I never used the Norplant, so I can't tell you from experience, but I was using Depo Provera for about six months and have heard a lot of people wth problems after using it. I think a lot of those types of BC have a lot of side effects.

norplant is another strong hormone supressant like depo provera and it can completely stop anything to do with cycles. It does take a long time to get it out of your system! I was on depo provera and it has taken forever to get my cycles straight (well, we will see if this one does get to normal length).

Just wondering how long do you think it will take to get this stuff out or do you think maybe sometimes it never leaves?

Do you think it could cause to infertility?
