Thanks Andi.......... i appreciate the advice ....... i think i will try the OPK before getting my tubes checked............. who would've thought that trying to have a baby would mean sssooooo much testing and prodding and waiting and timing!!!!!

but of course in the end it will all be worth it ....... you know i sometimes feel when my temperture rises but i never knew what it was......i'm learing so much about my body and it almost makes me feel like a complete idiot ..........as if I should've known this stuff before somehow...............i guess it's true....you stop learning when you stop living!!.......btw my name is Vivienne

Hey there Vivienne,
It is amazing how much we are not taught about our bodies, isn't it? I have learned so much in the past couple of years because I want to have a baby. This forum also helps a lot because there are so many women who are going through so many different things and to know that we aren't the only ones struggling to conceive.

For me the timing and the patience is a big issue.

Just out of curiosity how long are your cycles? Mine have been about 44-45 days long for the past three or four cycles except for this very last on which was only 30 days long... Just wondering.

Good Luck with the OPKs.

Hi Andi,

my cycles vary......alot!!!........ the last one I had was 30 days and it seems like this one is longer because today makes 30 days since my last one and still no period... i'll have to let you know how long this cycle is........... and before the last cycle i didn't see my period for 3 months........i had to take provera in December in order to "force" one.......... i'm trying to keep better track of them now........ again thanks for your support....... it's so encouraging to share this with people who actually understand the feelings that I'm experiencing with all of this .........lots of baby blessings to you........Vivienne

Hey there Vivienne,
What a coincidence... My last cycle was 30 days long my shortest since I stopped BCPs in June of 2006 and this cycle I am on day 27 and I haven't ovulated yet according to OPKs and my BBT charting. We will have to stay in touch about cycle lengths. I am so glad that we have so much in common. for both of us.

Hi Vivienne,
It is possible that it is implantation bleeding. I still haven't ovulated yet but I will be praying that this is your Have you tested? I think it takes a few days after implantation to show up on an HPT. your way.
Let me know what's up.

Vivienne,
I am sorry that I have been MIA... I just needed to stay away for a little while. I have made it through my first trimester. My EDD is November 11th. How are you doing? Any luck yet? I will be saying my prayers for you.
Andi
