Short Luteal Phase Success Stories?

I know this is a shot in the dark but I'll ask anyway. Anyone out there been diagnosed with a short luteal phase and treated with progesterone supplements after ovulation and get a BFP?? My new RE tracked 2 of my natural cycles and found that I ovulate btw day 22-24 and get my period around day 29-31. Luteal phase too short, he said. So we are trying on our own at home but starting progesterone IMs tonight for 2 weeks. Of course we're PRAYING it works but haven't ever heard of anyone else who did this treatment much less had success with it...

ANY WORDS OF WISDOM?? Thanks all!

ME !!!

My luteal phase is only 10 days (occassionally 9). It has been this way at least since I have been charting (over a year). Cycles are between 24-27d depending on when I ovulate.

First try - no progesterone - got pregnant on 1st attempt, early miscarriage (betas low, probably didn't implant properly due to short luteal phase)

Second try - no progesterone and took 8 months to actually get pregnant, exact same scenario as the previous pregnancy.

Third try - on progesterone, got pregnant on 1st try, same implantation issues and miscarried.

Fourth try - on progesterone and daily baby aspirin to strengthen the uterine lining and help with implantation - got pregnant first attempt, this one worked! I am almost 10 weeks. I got a BFP on 10 DPO so I figure implantation occurred on 7-8 DPO...so the progesterone probably lengthened my cycle enough so the embryo could actually implant properly.

I feel like a broken record telling people this but I really think it was the baby aspirin that did it - you may want to ask your dr. about this...it can't hurt but it may help, so in my books it's worth a shot!

I have a luteal phase that on average is 3 days long. Yep, 3 days. Accordingly, I was put on 800 mg of progesterone (a day) from the day after I ov'd. The doctor then decided to add clomid early in my cycle (day 3-7) to "get the party started earlier" lo and behold one month on clomid and we are pregnant.
So there is hope!!!

Good luck in your 2ww and let us know!!!
