This is the most embarassing thing I have ever posted in public forum...

Seems like once or twice a month for a few days I have a painful itching at the opening of my vaginal area -- then it goes away.. it's every so often..

I was reading online about Hostile CM...but it doesnt say anything about itching. a friend of mine who works in an ob's office said that any kind of hormone changes or stress can cause that... I've been checked by the ob in a pap for every known infection..

but doesnt that mean that this could be hostile cm rearing its ugly head? Anyone else ever had this problem?

ME, ME!! It is a very unpleasant itching as well. For me it usually occurs around ovulation and period time, although a little in between also. I am not sure what to do about it either: I have great personal hygiene, etc. It started about 2 years ago, ironically around the time DH and I started TTC. Perhaps it is hostile CM. Is there a way to correct this?

I've had this happen to me too! Although it just started, and I'm on my second month of Clomid. I just assumed that it was due to the Clomid since it can dry your CM and my pharmacist also mentioned vaginal soreness...nothing about itch though. I did have a test for hostile CM, and my doc said I was fine...so who knows???

I have been to embarassed myself to say anything but I get that as well it started happening about 2 month after the metformin. Usually just after OV and keeps up untill AF. I thought I was the only one. I guess I need to ask my doc the next time I go.
