Words of Wisdom Needed

Hello all,
I am experiencing some serious frustration to the point of wanting to give up all together. I have normal cycles and ovulate on my own (although I still take the trigger shot)
If I knew what the problem was I think I would feel better. I am trying to stay as positive as I can for this month, but as I am typing I feel cramps coming on. I am only a few steps from IVF which I know we can not afford! To top it all off every couple I know is pregnant and I work at a daycare. Sorry to be a downer, I just know I was born to be a mom and never thought it would be this hard. Is there anyone out there with one ovary who is ttc? or conceived and what are/did you taking?
Happy thoughts to all those in the same boat!

I noticed no one ever responded to your post and for that I am sorry. I don't have 1 ovary but you may want to post your question on the IUI or IVF boards. You may find more ladies that may be able to answer that question for you. Good Luck!

I agree---I would post on the IUI/IVF boards. They are busier than this one and you should get more responses.

All I can say is that I feel your frustration and how you get the guidance and advice you need to feel batter and to help point you in the right direction Good luck

While I don't have only 1 ovary, I feel your pain. It seems like everyone I know is pregnant (or just recently gave birth). Even with just one ovary, so long as you are ovulating, there is a chance to get pregnant. Even us women with 2 ovaries typically only release one egg per cycle. I don't have any answers for you, I have no miracle advice, I too am still waiting for "That" day to come. When we first started trying, I thought I would never get to the one year ttc- no pregnancy mark, after that I never thought we would get to the point of needing a RE, after starting IUI, I never thought we would have to go through IVF. I've had lots of advice over the past 3 years, none of which worked to get us pregnant. The whole process can be very depressing, you may want to speak to a therapist earlier than later. While I have not done this, I did start taking Zoloft on 1/2/08 and it has helped. At least I don't cry every day. Talk to your RE. There may be a lot of other support groups other than just this on-line community.
