Wow, I love seeing the
 s!!!!!! Thats awesome, congratulations!!!!! I hope to see many, many more as the month goes on  Myself I have been stimming now for 9 days I think??? I have 13 follies which seem to be doing well so we are happy about that. My estrogen level was high (they dont tell the numbers) so they started me on cetrotide so I would not ovulate (that would have sucked). I go in tomorrow for another u/s and b/w...I am thinking ER might be Saturday....Hang in there!!! We are going to be posting pics of all of our babies in July!!!!

I am on Day 9 of stims and boy it is getting harder and harder to poke myself. DH offered to do it tonight as I usually do it myself and he was so sweet about it but I could not go through with it!! I put the needle in and he injected the meds...lol...then he pulled the needle out a little and put it back in, what a laugh we had!! Last night DH wondered what the injections felt like so I let him use one of my extra viles of sterile water (for mixing) and he filled up the syringe, wiped the area clean (yada yada yada) and injected...I wish I had videotaped it...lol!!! - what a little dance he did. It was too funny. He injected before the alcohol was dry on his skin and he is still talking about it!!! This is probably why he was so empathetic towards me all day when taking my shots. Oh the stories we will tell our children one of these days

This is my first reply in the forum, though I have been reading along since mid-Sept. It has been so helpful and informative to read everyone's stories. Pdeupree, I am in the midst of estrogen-priming right now. My first IVF was converted to an IUI due to an early LH surge. As the next step, my RE planned on starting the estrogen-priming, poor stimulator protocol after a full cycle, starting after the next cycle. I asked if I can start immediately and he said there would be no ill consequence in doing so. Because I have had chemo, my menopause may have an earlier onset and may be just around the corner. In fact, I was in menopause after chemo ended and it is a miracle that my little ovary even woke up. I am paranoid that my window of opportunity will close at any time so I don't want to waste any time. My next cycle will be approx 10/26 and shortly after, I will start stim meds. When will you be starting your stim meds?

Hi Ladies,
I'm pretty new around here. I have posted before but the thread I began seems to have disappeared (or I just can't find it). I wanted to say hello and best of luck to all of you! I too am an October IVF. It is my first cycle. I am on Stim Day 6. Yesterday I had an US & BW. E2 @ 664 and about 7 or 8 Follies sizes varied between 8 and 15 mm. Follistim was cut back to 250 from 300. I am not sure where I stand with these numbers. Does anyone have any insight? Is the E2 high, low, or where it should be? How many follies are in a "normal" range? Sizes? It is extremely difficult to get a straight answer from the medical staff. They seem evasive. I hope some of you might share your insight with me and perhaps other ladies that may have the same questions. Vanna, good luck! I'll be thinking of you on Saturday and praying that all goes well for you.

Deanna- sorry to hear about the news Charlene- CONGRATS ON THE !!! How exciting!Bocorn-good luck tonight! Monique-me too! lol! in the beginning, the shots were okay but now I dread it. HeatherRosa- I'm new to IVF too. sorry I can't offer you an insight into what is normal. Kandy told me the other day that a E level of 200 per follicle is good when the eggs are mature.
