Hello ladies,

I am happy to see that the October group is coming together.

How do you add your name to the list?

I have been working out trying to loose the 12 pounds gained during the last two cycles.
I have also been taking RJ, Omega's, Mangosteen, a prenatal and Chinese herbs. Also I am doing acupuncture once a week. This is it for us the last cycle, so I am doing every thing in my power to get it right!!!

My doctor will be adding Heparin to help with implantation, I also want to ask about Medrol (to help rejection).

Nice to meet everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Erin - i am so excited to see you over here and that your beta has finally reached zero. i believe that october is going to be lucky for us.

to the newbies, if you want me to update anything let me know, otherwise you can just copy the previous list and add your name where it belongs or add a whole new category... we are getting closer to our BFPs!!!!

so i was just wondering are there any other veterans on here? this will be my third cycle... i know that others have gone thru much mroe than i have but it seems like i have been doing this forever

heather - yes it is jamie... i just can't belive what we are willing to go thru to have our little one. i see that you are on royal jelly, i also started that after my miscarriage. i am trying anything that i can do to improve my quality... my embryos look great on day three so we go to a day 5 transfer and then only have one that is ok and one that is low quality to transfer... right now i am on vitamin E, DHEA (although my FSH is 8), B6 (suppose to be good for PCOS and mental health, i figured i could use that) along with my prenatal and BCP... my bedside table looks like a pharmacy, isn't that only suppose to happen when we are like 80....

anything you are doing special to make sure that #3 works for you?

i'm taking the royal jelly 2x a day, baby aspirin, and an 800 folic acid. i'm also exercising a bit more thanks to my wii fit! other than that i'm just trying to keep my stress levels down.

my hope for this next cycle is that we don't have to do icsi (or at least 50/50 the batch), and that i have at least a few embryos make it to day 5, or better yet some to freeze. i've only had day 3 transfers and none to freeze so far.

what all are you doing differently?

oh, and i have my hubby on a multivitamin, 100mg b-6, 400mcg folic acid, 500mcg b-12, l-carnitine, and 500mg royal jelly capsules. his counts fluctuate from 5 mil - 78mil (being the best).

i am just on the extra vitamins right now, we got 19 eggs last time, we had two blasts and one early blast to transfer and the others didnt' make it to freezing so i am just hoping for a higher quality.

So why do you not want to do all the eggs with ICSI? just curious because that is what we use and although DH numbers are good for nature they said it would be our best success rates if we did icsi, and we have never tried to allow things to happen by themselves

icsi is a great medical breakthrough, but i have issues with it not being natural selection. even though the sperm might look picture perfect, it can still be genetically abnormal. i dunno really how to say it other that i'd just like to see if maybe some of our eggs and sperm can meet without assistance.

i think i feel this way because most of our embryos have gone to s*** by day 3. i am in no way saying there is anything wrong with icsi, i just would rather have the chance (at least w/ 50/50) to see if something can happen rather than forcing it.

i dunno, i just have a weird feeling that if we had some naturally fertilize that they would be stronger. it's just a gut feeling i have.

I have the same feeling; we did ICSI and 1st I feel like the eggs are no strong enough and 2nd I feel that my body rejected the embryos because they were tampered with. I want to ask my doc about rejection issues!

I am a veteran too!!!!!
