Hey girls! I guess i'm the BORING one right now. Still waiting for my CGH test results to see if my embryos are competent or incompetent before we proceed to the FET at the END of October. I pray I get the results next week after the holiday so I can start planning the next step. It's so hard to just WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!

Anyway, in the meantime. I started acup, cleaning up my diet (based on chinese med/acup recs), love to exercise (but doing it moderately), plan to cut all caffeine out when my date is set for FET (don't drink much anyway), plan on drinking wine over the holiday w/e but will cut that out soon too, and consider chinese herbs and RJ/BP just in case we have to do another cycle.

I guess my situation is a little different since my "embabies" are already on ice. I agree w/ yogagirl. All in moderation and trying not to go to extremes!!

8kitts -- I actually live in GA but went NY for IVF. Have a fun vacay! Sending your way!

jason -- My dh went to all the appointments, etc. My meds always came quickly in 1-2 days. I don't think you will have any issues. Have fun jet skiiing!

chalene -- Have fun in NY. Wow 2 weeks! I just got back from my 1st trip to NY. Is it your first trip? There is so much to do. We were doing IVF and sightseeing so I def did not get to see everything!

hopeful1 -- I did CGH not PGD but they both test for abnormalties. Why did you choose to do PGD? I hope this is your 1 and only IVF!

lizzie -- Wow, I can't believe that RN was at your new RE office. Stay far away.. I am glad you and DH feel good about your new protocol. Thank you so much for keeping us organized!

Okay girls. I am from the Sept IVF thread. I just went to my RE appt and it looks like I will be in the Oct IVF at the earliest. I have been battling Asherman's Syndrome (scarring of the uterus). Today I was told I was scar free "for the moment". I have to take 7 days of provera to bring on a withdrawal bleed and go from there! I wish all of you luck!

Rana – Yup. I took Lovenox instead of heparin and I did take medrol and baby aspirin too.
Nese – PM me if you want to talk clinics. We have had sooooo many consults. I think this was our 6th. I feel like I know them all pretty well. Have you checked your clinics success rates on the SART site? I made an appt. with the Northpark acupuncture clinic for Saturday. Does he seem to do about the same things as Eastern Harmony?
Praying – I wouldn’t worry too much about getting the meds ordered. Freedom Pharmacy delivers the next day for free.

Tomorrow is a busy day for me. I have an appt. with a maternal fetal specialist (High risk OB) in the morning. The new RE is making me do this before we start cycling because I have a weird health history. Then, in the afternoon, I have a hysteroscopy and trial transfer. Yuck! DH can't be there, so I can't even take anything stronger than advil. I hope you've all had a good day!

I've been busy with school and work during the week so lots has happened.

Lizzie - Good luck today!

Lisa - I know the waiting is sooooo hard! but you are getting there and soon you will have those embabies in your body growing.

Jason - I have no idea about the meds cause I buy them from my RE. I wanted to say my hubby comes to all my appointments, when we were doing the IUIs but now with the IVF there are so many days that's just for bw so I think this time I will tell him not to come if its just for bw. Have fun jet sking. We are also hitting the water this weekend, we are going sailing.

Oh and btw, I'm also one of the weirdos that likes RJ. I like it so much sometimes I want to eat more than 2 teaspoons . I already finished my first jar, the second one is on its way!

Hi everyone! Just stopping by to wish everyone a happy long weekend! Its really nice to see our October list filling up!!

As for me, just waiting for DH to get home so our weekend can start - he got called into a big project so who knows how it will go - but such is the way with IT! Can't survive without the internet! LOL! Also, just waiting for AF to arrive so I can start counting down to CD 21...Who would think I would WANT her to to arrive! LOL!

I'm not going to re-post the list today because nobody reported any changes.

I had my hysteroscopy, ultrasound, and trial transfer this morning. The hysteroscopy was definitely uncomfortable, but my sweet nurse came in and held my hand. My uterus looked fine. I had only 8 antral follicles, so I will be doing a lupron flare protocol. I'm staying on BCPs until the 14th of Sept. I should come off of them the week before, but it would mean that retrieval could potentially fall on a day when DH is out of town, so I have to stay on another week.

I also had a consult with a high risk OB this morning at my new RE's insistance. It didn't go so great. I had an accident dancing in 2004. I injured my neck and it caused an artery dissection, which caused a stroke. Though I'm fully recovered, the high risk OB was concerned about pregnancy making me prone to have another stroke, so she's making me see a very specialized neurologist before she will clear me to get pregnant. She thinks he will be fine to let me go through with it because the stroke was not in any way hormone related (like some who have strokes on BCPs), but it's nerve wracking to have to wait for the OK. My nuerologist had already seen me and cleared me, so this morning was a big surprise.

We are painting the living room this weekend. Really exciting, I know, but I've been wanting to paint it for months.

Happy labor day weekend to everyone! I'll check in tomorrow and see if the list needs updating. I really don't mind continuing to keep it up for a while.

Lisag - We did not decide on PGD my RE recommended it. We have 2 consultations next week and we will see what they suggest. What is CGH??? I have never heard of it.

lizzie518 - I am so sorry for the disappointing news!! It is better to be safe then sorry. I am sure the specialist with give you the "all clear" and you will be on your way to your BFP!!

Hello Ladies,

I'm new to this thread but not to the forum. It's seems as if I've been moving from thread to thread for the last year and I've patiently waited <not > for my time to arrrive.

Received a call yesterday from the IVF coordinator who gave me the go ahead to start my next IVF cycle after having my hysteroscopy last week. I was so surprised to get her call because I thought I would have to wait until at least my post-op appointment this coming friday. Anywho, I would have been able to start at the next cycle but based on my protocol I will need to be on an estrogen patch 5-7 days prior to AF. My next AF should be coming within the next 4-5 day's so I missed the boat this go around.

I haven't had a chance yet to go through the entire list of the Oct crew yet but I will. But until then good luck to us all, we are in for the ride of our life.
