Period after Failed IVF???
I had a failed IVF cycle last month and started my period on the day it was due. Now I'm 8 days late and was wondering if anyone else had a delayed 2nd cycle after a failed IVF. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm too scared to buy a test too. Any advice would help!!!

Me- 27 -Endo DH - 32 - Low Sperm Count and numerous other things. 2005 - Clomid 2nd try  Miscarried Naturally 3 months later Clomid and Letrozole off and on with no luck 2007 - IUI with Injectibles  Clomid and Letrozole on and off again with no luck May/June 2008 - IVF 5/5/08 - Started BCP and doxy 5/22/08 - Started Lupron 6/6/08 - Start Stims 6/17/08 - ER 5 Eggs only 3 mature, but all 3 fertilized w/ ICSI!!!! Randomnization - Prog. Ring 6/20/08 - ET (2 grade A 4 cell embies)  7/1/08 -

I asked this same question when I was late. I ended up about 8 days late. I am usually around a 32 day cycle, but that one took 40 days.
Some very helpful ladies suggested calling my RE to get a scrip for Provera. Of course RE wanted a blood test to make sure nothing happened naturally. I did have a negative POAS, so I wasn't too excited. When I was getting ready to go pick up the meds, showed up.....figures.At the time, a lot of ladies said they were 7-10 late on that cycle. i always had issues after a failed medicated IUI - i always ran from 5 - 7 days late and prior to that i was always on time. have you POAS?

There was another thread about this recently. I think it was :how soon after BFN does AF come." On there a few people said that thier second AF came extremely late.

Mine came about 5 day's after my last PIO shot, 4 day's after Beta. It lasted 5 day's, I had horrible cramps for 2 or 3 day's and was extremly heavy for one.

Did anyone have a very long period after a failed IVF cycle? Mine seems to be lingering and I am a bit concerned....?

Me: 31, Endo stage 1-2 & Inherant Egg Quality Problem/Genetics DH: perfect in every way TTC: 15 months 6 months on our own-BFN, suspect 1 m/c 3 months Femara-BFN Lapo, discovered endo and removed 2 months Femara with IUI-BFN 1st IVF-July/Aug.-10 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized (ICSI) fair quality-BFN #1 2nd IVF-Oct./Nov.-10 eggs retrieved again, 1 fertilized (ICSI) fair quality-BFN #2 Moving on to DE IVF...

After my 1st failed IVF it took 10 days for AF. I had to canceled my 2 IVf cycle on 8/29 so I looking for AF to show up anyday now
