 Me - RPL DH - Normal Trying - March 2006 3 unmedicated IUIs - BFN Laporoscopy 4/07 - Everything perfect.... 4 IUIs w/ Follistim - BFN 3.08:1st IVF - miscarried 8 weeks, our little angel 6.08: 2nd IVF - miscarried 7 weeks, another angel to watch over us testing for recurrent miscarriages, karotyping - again, all is normal!!! WTF? 10.20.08: 3rd IVF w/ PGD  10.28 - prog +20 11.5 - beta 225 11.11 - beta 1978 11.13 - beta 5100 11.21 - 1 pefect little peanut!! Maddie (Boxer) & Bear (Rottweiler)

Hi thread sisters.
Beta update its 92.5 so I am happy it doubled but progestrone is low...15.6 ...UUGGGHHH Do you guys see a pattern with me, nothing comes easy.. Has anyone had a low prog. level like mine? How long did it take to get higher? What did you take to increase it? What should a normal level be?

Barbara at one point my progesterone was 13 with this pregnancy and my little bean is doing great. We got to see him/her wiggling all around today on u/s. I talked with my RE and researched it a lot on line and it seems as long as you are over 10 it is ok they just like to keep it a little higher for us. They increased my PIO from 1cc to 1.5cc and it shot up to 26 by the next week.
92.5 is terriffic - Way more than double Sounds like you have a healthy little bean in there  Hugs Kimmy

Barbara - Yeah! That beta more than doubled. I don't know what to say about the progesterone, but I think if the RE were worried they would have advised you to up your PIO.

Barbara, I agree if your RE was worried about your progesterone levels he would have changed your progesterone meds. Don't worry about it and relish the fact that your

Started required parenting classes and getting portfolio together. July 2008 - classes end July 1st. Then comes the homestudy August 4th - Home study visit. I finally finished our Portfolio check it out and give me your opinion

i had low progestrone during my first pregnancy and it was up and fine within a week and i added 1cc of prog in oil. i am so happy for you. Congrats on the wonderful beta number!!!

Congratulations Barbara on your 2nd beta
With my second IVF, I too had a low progesterone and we added Prometrium. Just be prepared to be so exhausted with all your progesterone you are taking. Praying for a great 3rd beta. Your DH must be thrilled.
