Progesterone question
Ok, I spoke to my nurse and she was talking about my progesterone level. She said it was in the 200's. What does that mean?

Me:23 Mild Endo(removed), Uterine Polyps(removed), Mild Ovulatory Dysfunction, Severe Hypothyroidism DH: 25 Well above normal, absolutely perfect in every way Married for five years, trying for 2 IVF#1 7/9-Start stims  7/19-Trigger on 5 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY 7/21-Retrieval of 12 eggs, 9 mature, 5 fertilized 7/24 -Transfer of 3 Embryos, none to freeze  7/31- HPT shows  7dp3dt8/2- Two HPT shows   Please God Please! 9dp3dt8/4/08- Early Beta 268 11dp3dt8/6/08- Beta 2 681-Progesterone level in the 200's  13dp3dt8/19/08- 6w1d-We saw 2 heartbeats! We are having Twins!!!! 8/25/08-Bleeding scare 8/26/08-Babies were growing just right. Baby A, HB in the 140's and Baby B, HB in the 130's  9/8/08-3rd u/s Mommy of one furbaby-Alfie

Looks to me like your levels are nice and high which is great. Are you taking supps or PIO? I was on PIO until about 10 wks and then my progesterone level without PIO was tested and they were hoping my body was making at least something in the 20's. So right now you are on track and I think later on they will taper you accordingly. Congrads on your BFP! Enjoy the ride because it happens so quickly.

Ok, I'm nervous now. Your Pg is in the 200's. That is way higher than mine! My RE said that my level was borderline, so I'm really nervous. What should your levels be?
Yours sound great though. I know, completely difficult to not over analyze EVERYTHING!!! I know I am!!!

I just came from my Dr's office and he said the progesterone level needs to be 20-25. I have been on 2 suppositories a day and he told me to cut back to 1. I have OHSS, which he said is because all the follicles are producing so much progesterone. He told me mine was between 200-300.

Ahh, for two nights in a row, I have a very very small bit of red spotting only when I wipe. The nurse said not to worry unless I need a pad. Any blood is freaking me out!

My Prog. is only 15.6 so I am doing 1.5cc of PIO and Promentrium 2x a day. I hope it goes.
200 omg I am lower than you...Even 50...I would happy at 25 right now.

Hi ladies,
I am in the same boat as you! I have been so overly nervous about my gestational carriers progesterone level. Hers was 31.9 on progesterone shots. My RE said it's fine for her to go off, but it still makes my gc and I nervous so she is staying on for another week or two. She is 11 weeks with twins and I feel like it needs to be way higher. I hate all of this progesterone stuff.
