Antibiotics in first trimester
During my IVF cycle I took Doxycycline and I am sure by first Beta that I still had antibiotic in my system. But I took just after my first beta before my second. I have read that Doxycycline is a Category D drug and am worried I did something wrong. I would have been barely 4 weeks and it was only 1 pill. Should I be concerned?

Normally I think the doxy/antibiotic stops after ET...did your RE tell you to keep taking it? If you had an infection, it coud be that the risk of infection was greater to your pregnancy than the doxy.
I'm sure 1 tablet is not going to make a difference...I think it takes a large amount of a toxin to hurt a fetus. Ask your RE, but I'm sure he'll tell you not to worry.
