Dont make your self sick over this. You have great chances. For you Dh they will just do ICSI ( I think that what they call it). Just try to take it easy. The one thing you dont not need is stress , try to stay postive , thinking positive thoughts, relax . Things will work out for you If you pray just pray to God and leave it in his hands. I know its easier said than done. ![]()

It's so normal to feel stressed and overwhelmed -- it helps if you can break it down in small pieces. You just started Lupron so that is a great first step!
Your age is a real positive as the percentages are much higher for those in your (young) age group. ICSI is a God send for those with male factor problems. I think the combination between those two issues (ICSI and your age) gives you a great chance! Of course, it's best to speak to your RE about your specific circumstances -- speak up and be (politely)assertive with them. You are definately entitled to know what they believe your odds are. Let us know of any questions along the way -- these ladies are wonderfully knowledgeable and supportive! Take care, Gwen ![]()

thanks so much for the encouragement...i just get so scared when i see other young ladies in my age group with similar situations and it didnt work for them...but i will continue to keep hope alive. after the eggs are fertilized, does male factor infertility still play a major part in whether or not they stick when they're put back in???

I believe once those eggies are fertilized and become embryos, male infertility doesn't have any effect. What comes into play is if there are any chromosomal abnormalities in the egg and/or the sperm. I could be wrong, but this is what our RE told us.

I know how stressful all this can be, but that is the last thing that you need. Try to think positive. This helps, I know you don't want to get your hopes up and then have them crushed, but stress won't do you good. So pray and let it all in God's hands and think I will be pregnant! always
I don't think male factor has any effect after the eggs are fertilized, that is the only job of the sperm to fertilize the egg. But if you have questions ask you RE, anything that will ease up your mind ask the RE, I'm sure he will help you. Good Luck! and lots of ![]()
