Varying Day 3 FSH/LH results

I was wondering if anyone out there has gotten different Day 3 FSH/LH results each time they do your bloodwork?

When I had it done 8 months ago, my FSH was around 5 and my LH was around 8 so they thought I could have PCOS. But then I had it taken 3 months ago and my numbers were reverse, FSH around 10 and LH around 3, so they said I definitely don't have PCOS but could have a little diminished ovarian reserve.

It's very frustrating bc keep on getting mixed messages. Has anyone had this experience? What did your RE's say about the results?

Thanks girls!

I don't think it's that uncommon to have slightly different results with day 3 bw. And it is certainly possible to have more than one medical issue contributing to infertility.

Although I've never had high FSH, my LH has been both high and low throughout my cycles. In fact, in my initial work-up before I started treatment, my LH was normal on day 3 and my RE didn't suspect PCOS. It was only during my first cycle of IUI and clomid that my LH was noticed to be high.

I know it can be frustrating to not know exactly what's going on.
