Negative POAS but positive Beta?

Hi!

I was wondering how likely it is to get negative home pregnany tests leading up to the Beta day but then get a positive Beta?

Is there any hope?

Though I have not experienced this myself, I have seen several women devestated by getting a negative POAS only to turn around and get a positive beta. So there is definately hope!

There are several women on here who have had that. Some even test the day of beta and get a neg on the hpt but a positive beta later that day. Dont give up hope.

It does sometimes happen. How many DPO were you when you tested?

Hi LGB!
I'm really sorry... We need to chat. I think it's really good that you have appointments with 2 different REs. And it sounds like you really have a good understanding of the protocols and what you need. I would def ask about immune/chromosomal testing. I have high NK cells (natural killer) and would not have known that if my RE did not test it. As far as I know GRS does not do that testing. Just a thought. The only thing I know about Shapiro is a friend of mine (a surrogate cycled w/ him) othewise I've heard negatives x2 on RBA. I personally would consider Perloe but I would research SIRM and CCRM in CO before making your final decision if you have the option to go out of town. I guess my thinking for me...if we were going to pay OOP I wanted all the bases covered...do you insurance coverage? Contact me anytime (seriously)!!! hope you didn't mind if this is not PM ...Praying for you!

Thank you so much, there are so many wonderfully supportive people on this website and it's been a godsend for me! I hope you get your BFP! Have you been pleased since you switched RE's? We might too...
