Thank you SO much. You women on this forum are really incredible.

I am bleeding even more now. I'm losing it. I've been sitting on the sofa and crying. It's still not like a full period yet, but I'm quickly losing hope.

I just don't understand when or if it will ever be my time...

But I do know one thing - I am very thankful for this forum. All of you are such a support and I really truly appreciate it.

I remember during my first IVF that cathyh on this board was going through something similar. She had some spotting and then it became heavier - I think it was the day before her beta - and she was convinced that she had started her period but she got a bfp. I have heard other stories like that too. Sending you - your beta is tomorrow - you really are almost there. I so hope you get a

Maggie - Thank you SO much. Stories about other people experiencing a similar situation and having it turn out to be a BFP really gives me hope. I have NEVER had a BFP of any kind, and I think if I were to get one I would...I would...I don't even know what I would do - scream my head off? Cry in ecstasy? Run around the neighborhood telling everyone I love them? I just can't imagine it happening for me but I'm trying to stay as positive as I can. I feel no other symptoms - no cramping, no period-like feelings, but I am still spotting - more than I did Friday, but still not a full blown AF yet, so I can still hope, can't I?

Again I don't know what I'd do without the women on this forum! Seriously, I keep checking my thread and I keep receiving responses from women I don't even know, women who are urging me on, giving me hope, and showing me they care. Just unbelievable. You truly help me. Thank you so much.

Hi,
I've been following your thread too (we Maggies think alike) and I am SO pulling for you. I know all too well that this is the most difficult thing you have ever endured in your life. I am praying that you will get your BFP.

In case it isn't good news, please don't lose hope yet. My friend who is 45 and her DH is 50 (found each other late in life) tried for three years and six IVF cycles before they got their BFP. She is now 22w pregnant with a little girl. Miracles happen.

We are all with you in this, you are not alone! No matter where we are in our journeys - waiting, pregnant, mothers, we all have walked in your shoes and know how you're feeling.

Hi Deb - I've read all the post here from your first one and i pray that you are wrong in your thinking and you get your big fat positive. I'm also in my 2ww and a little concerned because i'm not feeling really anything either except for being really tired. It's only been 4 days for me though since my transfer so i guess it may be too soon but i know in April when i had my last FET i felt cramping around this time and got a bfp but unfortunately it ended soon after but anyways i think you were supposed to do beta today or is it next Sunday? I'm looking forward to seeing what your outcome is. If you haven't tested yet try, as hard as i know it is, to stay as positive as you can. I'm praying for you.

Thanks Maggie! I can't believe the number of women who are supporting me! From the bottom of my heart - thank you so much.

I finally stopped spotting. So this is definitely weird. With my other two IVFs, I didn't spot at all and then got a full blown AF on the day of my blood test. But other than the spotting this time, I feel nothing. ??

Anyway - I'll try to keep hopeful if this doesn't work. I talked to the nurse today (my favorite nurse at Boston IVF - Nicole - if anyone knows her) and she was SOOO nice. She said she was pulling for me. My blood test is at 9am EST and she said she'd call me back first, as soon as possible with my results.

Thank you again SO MUCH.

Thanks Latlasan!

I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage! But seriously, I wouldn't worry about not feeling anything 4DPT. My DH keeps reminding me that many women are pregnant and don't even know they are until they miss their period. But here we are waiting and hoping and praying for cramping or whatever. I think it's perfectly normal not to feel anything. And I think spotting is something that happens mostly to people undergoing IVF. So don't even worry about anything yet - it's way too early.

Thank you for your well wishes - I really appreciate it. And good luck with your cycle too!!!!!!!!

Deb: My beta is tomorrow as well... best of luck and sticky vibes to us both !! I read through your thread... hoping you get a BFP !!

The symptoms (including spotting), from reading other people's postings seem to vary widely from woman to woman... so just hang in there (this posting is equally for me as it is for you!!!)...

Okay, so the nurse just called and I got a BFP but the number is only 36.9! She told me to be "cautiously optimistic" but they look for at least a 50.

What do you guys think? I am crying my eyes out but I don't know why?!! Should I be excited or should I be scared/sad? I don't know how to feel. I've never gotten a BFP in my life - but this number is so low I don't know what to do!

First of all CONGRATS!!!! Yippee!!!!! When I did my IVF we had several women who had a low first beta and are preggo...I think it was just a late implanter...hence the blood...they will retest the beta soon and I have so much faith that the number will be higher!!! You can be "cautiously optomistic" but also enjoy that BFP!!!!!!!!!

Just looked back on someone's profile I thought of with low #'s and her first beta was 32, then two days later 90...and she is having twins...don't let the low number upset you too much....wait and see what happens with the next one...COME ON BIG BETA!!!
