Deb - thanks for your encouraging words and CONGRATS to you on your BFP. I know you said your number was low but as you can see alot of people start out with low numbers. One ladies first number was 17 and she went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I'll be praying for you. When do you go back in again for second beta?

Oh and your husband is right some people don't even know there pregnant until there 2 months almost so i guess i won't worry too much. I pray everyday.

Hi Deb,

I am very glad. I was crossing my fingers for you :-)
Do not worry about the low start.. it is definitely positive. We always test at 14 days post transfer, and anything above 50 on 14 day post transfer consider to be positive. and you are just 11dpt, So do not get yourself into confusion.

I agree....11dp3dt is early...and you still got a BFP!!!! Thursday will be here before you know it and that number will be way up!!!! Just think to yourself that there is a lil one growing inside you and that baby does not need stress...be happy for the BFP and once Thursday comes around I am sure you will feel so much better!!

Thanks ladies! I do hope it was a little early, though the nurse still said to be "cautiously optimistic," I'm not really sure what to think... but I'll TRY to be optimistic!!!!!!!!

I've been following your thread and I'm so happy for you that you got your very first bfp ever! That's great. I don't think your beta is that low either, I've read SO many stories of other woman having betas similar to yours, even lower, and have had very successful pregnancies. I can't wait to hear what you next beta is. It sounds like you little one implanted late.

Ihope someone out there has an answer to my question....I am 10dp5dt and did an hpt this am. It was bfn!! It was a cheap test from Albertson's, but shouldn't it be accurate anyway? I have my beta in the am on 9/2 (tomorrow) and I am so stressed out! I have major cramping sore bb's and I am nauseated which has never happened with previous cycles. Has anyone out there had a bfn and then a bfp on the beta?

I have seen women with BFN HPT the day of their beta and still get a positive beta...there are so many factors that could affect the HPT...I am sorry I don't have a personal story but I have read them on this forum...best of luck for a BFP tomorrow!!!

I am "cautiously" happy for you (if I can say so)! I think it can be early for the BETA to be very high. Stay positive. We all will wait for Thursday with you. Hang in there!

Yes! I had a BFN 8DP3DT and got a BFP on my beta. And when I was worried, many women wrote to me telling me not to worry that they'd seen that before.

So please try not to worry. It's not over until the blood test says it is. Your levels could just have been to low to detect by cheap HPT!
