I just POAS and it came back clear as day - BFN.

But could the brown spotting be implantation at 8DPT or is that too late for implantation?

If it is implantation bleeding, would a BFP show up on a pee stick this early???

I was SO hopeful that the spotting may have been implantation bleeding, but now I'm feeling like it didn't work AGAIN!

Can anyone tell me if they had a BFP after a negative test around 8DPT??

It is still early. Don't give up hope! I know there have definitely been ladies who got negative even up till the day of their beta and had a positive result from that! Hugs to you! And that could definitely be implantation bleeding!

This happened to me after my 4th IUI. I NEVER spot, ever. On 11dpo I had what you're describing. I was convinced it was implantation bleeding since I had never had anything like that before. Well, it ended up BFN.

But it's still so early for you! Maybe it just implanted today and it'll take a day for the levels to show up. They say the avg time for implantation is 9 days, right? So you're right on target. It's gonna be a BFP...I know it!

Thanks Elaine. What did they say your bleeding was? Just random? Or a result of the progesterone? The average time it takes to implant is 9 days post transfer? I thought it was more like 5 days. That is why I was concerned... Oh, I don't even know what to think anymore!

I made poas 9dpt but got a . But my beta was on 12dpt. So dont worry.

11 DPER is a little early to expect a positive HPT, so I wouldn't count yourself out by any means. And yes, the brown spotting could be a very good sign! It's not too late at all - I had it with both my pregnancies (the chemical and then this one) starting the evening of 8 DPER and continuing on well past beta.

The spotting stopped. It only happened this morning, but it's never happened before, so I was a little excited (until I took the HPT)...

Deb72 I poas and still . I still have faith. My last 2 pregnancies I didn't get a until 14DPO. I still have faith. If the spotting stopped i wouldn't be concerned. When I had my miscarriage I spotted a little for like a week, but it was always there. Probably implantation. Maybe it is a good sign. If it was AF then it would continue right. Waiting for our s.

I've been through 3 cycles of IVF (1 fresh and 2 FET)

I didn't have any spotting with my fresh IVF cylce (eneded in BFN) or with my 1st FET (chemical pregnancy). I did however have brown spotting with my 2nd FET which was NOT normal for me because I had never spotted before....I did get a BFP with that cycle but had an early m/c...I think the brown spotting has the potential to be a very good thing. I still have had no more spotting - only on 8 days post transfer. And that was the day I took the HPT and got a BFN. It took all my will power not to POAS this morning. I think I will wait until morning of beta which is Monday.
