I live in Wilmington and have an RE there that I love, but he does not do IVF.

For IVF, I am going to REACH center in Charlotte. I am in my 2ww now and have no complaints. They worked with my RE in Wilmington to do all of my monitoring. I only had to go to Charlotte for my initial appointment, ER, and ET.

I'm in western NC, and I know there is an RE in Asheville (C.A.R.S. / Carolina Applied Reproductive Sciences, I believe) ... but I chose to go to one down in Atlanta instead. (2 hours away).

What part of NC are you in?

I am in Fayetteville...I know there is a new center here. I am seen on base, but will use the civilian lab.

It's called Carolina IVF Lab.

I know Duke & Cary (CCRM?) are supposed to have good progams, too.

Good Luck!!!

Thanks ladies.

Dr. Richard Wing is my RE...love him!!!

They don't always guarantee that your RE will be able to do you ER and/or your ET, but Dr. Wing was available to do both of mine.

If you stick with them, make sure that you stay on top of the financial people, sometimes they aren't on top of it. The nurses and RE's are great though!!!

Good Luck!!!

Hi,

I am in the Fayetteville area too. I chose to go to Greensboro for my IVF. I have used NCCRM for my first IVF and I was NOT happy.

They have tooo many patients and too little staff and the doctor although good, is very arrogant and tends to talk down to his patients. I am not the opnly person who hgas experienced this with him.

My doctor is G'boro was wonderful great people and very ont top of things and could always get in touch with them without a problem.

Premier Fertility Clinic-- Dr. Deaton. I have other issues and have to use donor eggs but I hope for you that you have a very short journey through IVF into motherhood .

We are doing Shared Risk and it took forever for them to get the paperwork together for approval. Apparently, our chick "got behind" and forgot to bill us for my anesthesia. Therefore my stim. orders were late (only one day) b/c that hadn't been paid (I was waiting for a bill) and I had to eventually pay over the phone.

Even with this, I still love them and would recommend to anyone.

that's who our RE is. i think he's fine. my DH thinks he could be a little more personable. we live about 2 hours away and he thinks if we have to drive all the way down there he should be a little bit friendlier.

my thoughts. as long as crain gets the job done, i won't have any issues.
