Question? Uterus Hard To See...
Hello, wonderful ladies.
I am on my 9th day of stimming, and the doctor says she's having a hard time looking at my uterus. Did anyone have a difficult egg retrieval because the difficult level of seeing the uterus? My retrieval is suppose to be this coming Tuesday, Sept. 2nd, and I have 7 follicles that they see. Do you think the follicle count may be more, they just can't see them? And do you think it will be easier to get at my uterus when I am under anesthesia?

During the stim process, my RE didn't have a hard time seeing my uterus, but she did at the time of my ET. They make you drink a lot of water so they can get a better picture of your uterus during the transfer.

During my mock transfer they couldn't find my uterus and had to guess. He didn't seem to worried about it.

Me- High FSH DH- some abnormal but good count. 5 months of Clomid, all 's1st Round of IUI + Clomid and HCG shot 3/16 IVF #1- May/June cycle canceled after 13 days on stims. Tons of follies but poor responder to stims  .IVF#2- August 12th, start BC 20th, Start Lupron 31st, Suppression check- YAY! On to stims! September 1st- Start Stims (Gonal F- 300, Menopur 150) Sept. 13th ER- 28 eggs  , 20 fertilized Sept. 18th- Transferred two AA blasts  , 4 to freeze!Sept. 24th- POAS and its  for a great Beta!Sept. 27th- Beta #1- 259  Sept. 30th- Beta #2 -954 6 weeks- Oct. 13th- 1st u/s- Two Sacs, TWINS! measuring 6wks1d and 6wks2d. Heartbeats 110 and 111 7 weeks u/s because of bleeding scare- hb 130 and 131. Oct. 27th u/s- 8 wks 2d. Both babies measuring right on target, HB's great!!!! Graduate to OB- 1st appt. Oct. 30th!

My Mock Transfer Failed
When the Dr tried to do my mock transfer she said my uterus is so tilted that she couldn't get a clear picture of it. She kept trying until the catheter hurt and finally decided she'd do the mock during the ET when I am under anesthesia. She also said that at that time they'll put a stitch in my uterus to untilt it temporarily. She didn't seem at all worried about this and told me having a tilted uterus is very common. Good luck!
