I am have been having some issues with brown spotting for the past 5 days or so... I check the HB's with the doppler every morning and I have another scan scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10 am. I am a bit nervous but being able to hear the HBs with the doppler has been reassuring, to say the least. The spotting is only happening in the morning and goes away by the afternoon. The docs don't really seem to be able to pin point the reasons for it but I am hoping to just know a little more tomorrow.

Did any of you experience this? If so, could you share your experiences... thanks!

I spotted brown periodically during the first trimester. OB was never worried about it and said it is really common with twins. I think so long as it is brown, scant, and not accompanied by cramps or clots, there's no need to worry. In fact, I think I even spotted red a few times. There's just a lot going on in there with two beans burrowing in!

i agree with Kelly, as long as you are not cramping and it is brown, because that means that it is old blood and not causing a problem right now. good luck and i hope that things work out

I spotted brown for almost 3 weeks starting at 8 weeks. Its pretty common. Nerve-wracking though!
