Anyone starting their injections today or this week????
My second go round and I am looking for some good support buddies. Last time around, one of the ladies I met and became good friends with got her BFP. Another decided to stop trying...I am looking for some friends to chat with from time to time during this IVF cycle. Anyone starting like me?

Me: 40 - unexplained infertility, LOR due to age DH: 29 - infrequent low motility, low count, sometimes perfect TTC 7 Years  Jasmine, shih-tzu 10Linkin, 2 Year old, long eye-lashed, crested gecko All of 06-7/07 Clomid and insemination off and on...no results. First Round IVF 2/08: Only two eggs...of the two retrieved both were mature and both fertilized. Doc stated "highest quality", she said we are lucky people. :-) HPT 2/13:  Then a week later  blood test!Suffered an early mc.  Had several cysts that prevented more attempts in 08. IVF-ICSI delayed due to dominant egg, Changed to IUI 2/16/09 HPT 3/1 ON TO DONOR CYCLE! Begin Lupron 9/21/09 Transfer 10/22/09 2 A quality embabies transferred First Beta 11/5/09 1,979!!!!!! #2 Beta 11/9/09 8,212 1st US 11/17 they see one baby! 6 weeks 1 day PG Baby due July 11, 2010

I start my shots on Sat!!! Getting excited, OK that sounds strange to be excited about taking shots but you know what I mean. LOL

 Staci______________ Me- 38 no known issues DH - 46 Reversal with antibodies present on tail/low motility 1 DS - 2 yrs old - adopting thru childwelfare(been with us since 2 wks old) 4 stepchildren (28, 26, 23, 22 yrs old) 5 Dogs - 4 Catahoula, 1 Aussie4 horses, chickens and cattle TTC since reversal in 2002 IUI #1 July 08 = IUI #2 sched for 08/14/08  for a 8/12 - 3 follies largest 15.3 so have to go back on Thurs & change IUI to 8/16 -- was not able to do IUI this month Waiting for AF to schedule next U/S & IUI. On to IVF next - maybe IUI#3 - 1 folicle 27, wow but levels were low enough to do it, BUT sperm count went down to 8M with 2M motile 9/25  showed upHoping to start IVF# on Nov 22nd we that the Lord blesses us with His miracle.

I have my suppression check today and should everything look good I'll start shots on Saturday!

hi rachel,
i'm andrea, starting my 1st iv-f. i've been on lupron since 11/7 and start my stims TODAY! bravelle 300mg. i really hope this works. my dr. thinks i am a poor responder. i hope to prove him wrong  what meds will you be taking? any words of advice on iv-f, it's a big decision. ttyl, andrea

Me ~ 36 (poor responder) DH ~ 38 (low motility & morphology) Married ~ August 2007  TTC ~ September 2007 10/07 - 4/08 ~ saw RE & took Tamoxifen & 1 IUI 5/08 ~  (natural cycle )6/08 ~ m/c & d&c due to trisomy 15     (baby boy)6/08 - 10/08 ~ Tamoxifen & 4 IUI's IVF ~ November 2008 Lupron 5, 10 units, Dexomethosone .25mg, Estrogen Suppositories (yuck!), Ganirelex, Bravelle 300 Poor response, only 1 egg but a goody. (1) grade 1~8 cell embryo (frozen) IVF ~ December 2008 BCP, Lupron 5 units, Gonal F 300, Repronex 75 (every other day), Delestrogen, Dexomethozone .25, Estrogen 2 mg Lots of good wishes & baby dust to everyone

Hi, I started my stim on 21 Nov. This cycle I didn't use BCP & Lucrin. Good luck to all..

(sorry if I misspelling, I'm not very good in English) Me - 31 (lost right fallopian tube - ectopic) DH - 33 ( Low count) fur baby1st IVF 25th Aug - Stop BCP 01st Sep AF 02nd Sep - Blood Test (FSH 10.72) RE say a bit high 20th Sep - Start Lucrin 20iu , Vit E & Folic Acid 02rd Oct - Period 03rd Oct - E2 117 start stim (Lucrin 10iu & Gonal F 300iu) 08th Oct - U/S - right ovary no respond (1 follicle 8.4mm), left ovary only 3 follicle (9.5mm and two smaller). Cancelled cycle. Wait for AF. - 15th Oct - AF arrived.. Waiting again for next AF. 2nd IVF - Antagonist Protocol 20th Nov - AF arrive  21th Nov - Start stim - Gonal F 450iu 26th Nov - U/S Left Ov - 4 follicle (1@14mm, 1@13mm, 2@11.7mm) Right - 1 follicle (12.3mm) continue gonal F & ganirelix 28th Nov - U/s (1@18mm,1@17mm 2@16mm) 30 nov trigger 9pm 02 dec - ER 5 follicle, 3 egg, 2 fertilize 04 Dec - Transfer 2 embies (4cell - grade5 & 2cell- grade 4) 16 Dec - Beta 9.5

Hi Rachel,
This is my first IVF cycle and I start my stims tomorrow also. I have been on Lupron already. I am very excited to start this and I am ready to get my the first time around. Hopefully you will too.... I will be taking gonal F, luveris (cd9), and lupron (lower dose), and heparin (twice a day), plus medrol and baby aspirin along with my prenatal and metformin. Wow that's a lot of meds.... Gloria

I started stimming on 11/20. This is my first IVF cycle and I've been going back and forth between excitement and being freaked. I'm only on Gonal-F so far. Good luck to everyone this cycle!

I started stimming last night and this is my 3rd IVF, and hopefully the winner. I have a different protocol called the Estrogen Priming Protocol. No Lupron this time, just Gonal-F, Menopur and Ganilerex at the end. It started w/estrogen patches and Ganilerex before AF. I am looking at around 12/2 for ER.

Some have asked, this is our 2nd try...see mini bio. First time IVF got BFP but it stopped progressing after a few weeks. We were very, very sad. I was under a lot of stress then. May be loosing my high pressure job now due to the economy and I am actually very happy. Thankfully we can scrape on by with hubbies income or the stress of needing money would kill me. Either way I took time off during this IVF cycle. I am on Lupron and had some tiny amount of old
for a day. I was worried but doctor said a tiny amount is fine and normal. I was worried as a friend on here got the real thing and they made her stop and start next month. I had low response due to age last time so please keep fingers crossed and prayers coming for me. Love to you all and prayers! Rachel
