Endometrial lining question
At what point during your cycle did your endometrial lining thicken and what medicine helps it to thicken?

Me-tubal blockage, numerous miscarriages DH-perfect! 3 doggies, Cody  , Mistique , and Sophie 2 cats, Tandy and Earl MY RESUME 3 HSG 4 LAPS 3 times had tubes opened Many miscarriages (TNTM)  Dr accidentally removed 1/2 of my left ovary  . FSH went up after this happened.1 tube ties off in preparation for IVF. IVF #1-cancelled before retrieval  in 2007My new approach with new RE in 2008: 1 mini IVF cycle, yielded 0 eggs (50/50 chance of there being eggs each time with this kind of IVF).  2009"Everything is possible for him who believes." Mark 9.23  Break is over- April is here, time to begin again. Back to RE who is running BW and US almost every week to see what month/time is right to cycle.

Your lining should get ticker day by day after the ovulation until your period. I should say it should start building up day by day , arround 15th day , after the first day of your last period. As far as i know.
I am not sure about medecine, but I know that progesterone (hormon) is resonsible for building up the lining. I also was told that accupancture helps if you have a problem with the lining. Good luck.

Estrogen is very important in the thickening of the lining. It thickens from the last day of your period all the way thorough to the start of the next one.
I am on Progynova which is a 2mg estrogen tablet per day and also on estrogen patches, as well as progesterone pessaries. The prog. is to support the pregnancy as much as to thicken the lining.

Hi I'm not sure if this helps, but i was told that my RE requires a 7 or 8 mm lining needed for IVF cycles. I just finished up my stimulation meds, and have ER tomorrow. My lining thickend at each US apt. My lining is currently at 13. Well that's what it was Thursday.

Uterus lining
i'm just curious, how thick does your uterus lining have to be in order to support an embryo? went to my doctor's office today and he said that i had two nice size eggs develop after taking clomid but that my lining was at a 5. he also said that because of my pcos, clomid wouldn't work for me. he indicated that my lining would need to be at a 7 or 8 in order to maintain an embryo. i've been reading other things and some sources i've read say 5 is alright. should i try having sex anyway on days 12, 14, and 16 to see if we can get pregnant?

Baby Aspirin works for lining problems. Anywhere from 8-12 mm is good lining,but for some people even 5 worked.
Heard that baby Aspirin helps to improve a bit.And some kind of cough medicine,with "gau.." ,dont remember exactly.You can google,it. Hope this helps

me-32 pcos, history of irregular cycles dh-32 amazing ttc-3 years 2006: 5/06' diagnosed with pcos several clomid cycles with glucophage after this. 10/'06- 2007: 1/'07 - mc, baby had turner's syndrome, heart and kidney malfunction Cycle becomes regular 5/'07 - 1 week later mc - chemical pregnancy several clomid cycles completed after this. all failed. decided to take a break until start of '08. 2008: 3/'08 - accepted into an IVF study 6/21/08 - 13 eggs obtained-10 fertilized. estrogen levels too high. kicked out of the study. had to wait till estrogen levels went down to obtain eggies. by that time, lining too thin. have to do fet. 6/26/08 - ohss - most painful experience ever! 9/19/08- fet #1 - 5 embyos thawed, 3 survived, 3 implanted 11/15/08 clomid cycle-re says lining too thin.  need to try fet #2 in february '09.12/15/08-took 2 hpt-both positive! 12/17/08-beta 863! we are !12/17/08-beta 2277!
