I found this website: Monitoring in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles listing information from the 1980s - CHECK IT OUT. Interesting read. Anyway, there's an equation to predict pregnancy outcome based on the rate of estrogen growth. I figured out how to do the equation and I'm anxious to see if it works. If you want me to predict outcomes of past and current cycles, just list your E2 levels and the days of stim up to trigger. Here's an example of mine:

11 2761
12 4635 trigger My value came out as 0.46 which is out of range (positive range is 0.31 to 0.41), which resulted in a BFN. Just something to think about.

RDW: with 2 numbers it's hard to get a nice curve, but with those 2 it's 0.58. If I put in 3000 for day 11, it's 0.36, if I put in 4000 it's 0.46

jjc: I get a number of 0.42 rounding up, it's .419 so pretty close (positive range is 0.31-0.41)

I also actually had my days wrong. I forgot they started me a day later on stims. Does that matter?

Okitoki: 1st cycle is .45 and 2nd cycle is .44

jjc- no the days do not matter, just the time in between E2 readings, but if I put in 5200 for your day 9, it drops to 0.40.. wow, I didn't think it would change that much.

Interesting. Cycle 1 = IVF 1.5 in my signature and was a BFN and Cycle 2 = IVF 2 --- which I am right in the middle of. I will keep you posted.

Shiela- your number is .34- one of the best patterns I've seen so far.

Robyn- yours is .62, your numbers show a very exponential pattern, whereas Shiela's is more linear. Wow- you must have a lot of follies! YEAH! Remember, this is just an experiment, all in fun.
