I'm very curious how many people around my age going through IVF with me. I think we have at least 1 issue in-common -same age. So most of us probably going to have ICSI. Most of us, probably if we are lucky enough, will be raising teens in our fifties.

I completed a cycle in September and yes, me and hubby are going to be spending our golden years paying for college tuition!

Let's hear it for us AMA mommies and mommies to be. I had a baby girl 3 1/2 months ago at the youthful age of 41. I am in heaven. I had a wonderful pregnancy (until week 33 PIH.) and felt so good through it. I had a quick recovery after delivery and have lost the 23 lbs I gained. I am so happy to be an "older" mom. If all goes well, when Clara is a year old I hope to do a FET with our snow babies.
To all of you in process, blessings to you and I hope to see many BFP here!

Yes, my name is Russian, but this one is a nickname. Just sounded like a nice name to me. It means - light in Russian.
We are married for 5 years now and TTC with no luck so far. So if this one work he or she will be very first for both of us.
It is exiting and a little scary time for us.
So at least for me having so much emotional support helps a lot.

Just did my Lupron shot, on Feb. 06 reducing it to 5mg. and adding Gonal-F. Fun staff I'm having a little side effect of Lupron - slight headache that comes and goes.

Clara is great. I think she and I have little colds so we had a very quiet day at home today.
I bet your friend does have her hands full. When we conceived Clara we had two embies put in. I was really hoping for twins. I am very content with having her, but I often wonder what it would have been like to have two.
What is your next step in your procedure? I'm for you!

Next Wed. Feb.4 th I'm going to have ultrasound and blood work and reduce Lupron to 5ml, then on Feb 6 ( I think ) starting Stims. Tentatively ER is Feb14-21.

Sorry you are ill, my husband would recommend vodka He think its universal remedy for grown ups at least. I recommend some chamomile tea with honey for mom and maybe some light apple juice for baby if she can have any.

Oh and had a ? Sorry if I missed it in your signature, did you do just 1 IVF? My friend had to do 2 IVFs to get her twins, boy and girl. And she really wants more kids, but it's very expensive and her husband think two is enough.

Never thought of Vodka... at least I wouldn't care about having a cold! Maybe the Chamomile tea is a better choice since I am BF.
For this pregnancy we actually did donor egg. I have had diminished ovarian reserve and other issues since my 20s. We had success with our first round on DE. We also did embryo donation last year which sadly ended in an ectopic pregnancy. I am hoping to do a FET in a year. My husband is cautious because I had PIH with this last pregnancy.
