I have also been calling and emailing to no avail. My cycle has now come and almost gone. I've been thinking about giving up on this. I cant imagine going through the whole process not being able to get responses.

I called the number listed on their webpage, not the clinical trial number and got their receptionist. She said I could call back at that number when arrives so they can get me in on day 3. We are completing the preliminary blood tests, etc. this week. Good luck!

So I finally got through, and I dont think this is gonna be for me.

Although they accept people with male factor, they dont really want Azoospermic men. If we decide to proceed we would have to schedule and deal with Tese ourselves prior to taking part in the study and freeze.

Good luck to you all with the trial. There were quite a few of us that did a trial a few months back in Houston, TX. The trial aspect can make a cycle even more intense in some aspects, and less stressful in others. I'm glad that you guys have already started a thread to support eachother.

do i have to be in perfect health to be a part of the study. I have a history of hep b and was wondering if you knew what the qualifications were?

Ditto- Grats on the appointment. Mine is March 2nd at 1:00 and I am hoping cooperates as well!

Fauthulmoe- I know HepB is one of the tests they require, but I don't know if it will exclude you from the trial. Try filling out the prescreening and then the long screening and you could always call and ask them if you get accepted but before you first visit.

thanks sas and good luck on you appointment i hope everything goes well. I don't think I will be accepted into the study because my BMI is 31.2 and it can't be over 29.9. I am a little disappointed because I am not fat. I guess I will have to seek different alternatives. Thanks everyone Good Luck

They finally called me back. I thought my positive CF test (as a carrier) would exclude me, but I was wrong. So I am going next week to my OB-GYN for all the updates to my tests and will go to NH on CD2 or 3 (probably around March 24th). I am so happy to have something to look forward to again.

Now, I just worry about passing the ant. follicle count "test".

Thanks. Not "in" yet. Just have one hurdle done. I will have to wait for the first appoinment to see if I can qualify (i.e...FsH level, AFC, etc.) We will see. At least I have a chance.

I see you are going to a new RE!! YAY...keep me posted.

Hello all-
I am a newbie here & lurker but was so happy to see this thread as I have been struggling with infertility now for 4+ yrs. I filled out the screening tests and was informed by email that I would be contacted with an appointment date. I have not been contacted yet, but here is my dilemma: I have started to spot, which normally means AF is a few days away. I would call this clinic and ask what tests they require prior to an appointment, but obviously there is no way I could get the preliminary tests in time if AF is going to begin in a few days. In fact, I don't even know what tests they are. I really don't want to waste such an incredible opportunity but I am just not thinking straight at this point. I have so many worries and concerns not to mention the fact I have PMS and the moodiness isn't helping me make decisions rationally! Does anyone have any thoughts or advice on what I should do?
