Personally, I haven't had anything but positive interactions with Matt! He has been far more compassionate than those I dealt with at Shady Grove Fertility where I was involved in prior to going to NH. I always felt like they were trying to "up-sell" me to the best and most expensive model of infertility treatment. Perhaps because the entire "monetary" issue has been removed, it changes the entire dynamics of the process.

Raven - I am so sorry. I agree with you about Matt. I truely believe he wants to see everyone to succeed. I think he is very sad every time it does not work out. You have a positive attitude and I pray that you have success on your journey. Again, I am so sorry.

Raven - I'm so sorry sweetie, U have a great attitude though and us infertility girls have all related to what your going thru at some point.. Don't lose hope because it will happen one day!

I had my egg retrieval this morning and they retrieved 13 eggs.. I would have had many more but I actually ovulated at some point last night and some were missing today on the ultrasound! I was so scared they woulden't find any, so 13 is a blessing. Now it's the waiting game... A month wait, They won't do fresh transfer this month because apparently my lining is *too* thick.. 13mm? I didn't know that could be an issue. So I get the fertilization report tomorrow and then they'll freeze em in 5 days.. So nervous and anxious, but theres nothing more we can really do but wait.. To be honest I'm looking forward to the month off. Good luck ladies Ohh By the way, can anyone post me the link to the trial login, I can't find it on their main page and it somehow got lost on my favorites - I think I'm overdue for a survey thing.

Hi everyone...today i went in to drew my arm and guess what im in conventional..ultrasound and bloodwork everything came out fine so i am starting lupron 20units tonite schedule hystroscopy and D&C on 20th and will be going for preop on 16th.....im getting little bit nervous about that . I am getting hystroscopy done by dr Yang ..i will higly appreciate if anyone can just rite few words how did their go if they ve got it done at NH or from Dr Yang
it was so exciting so hear when matt calculated and said if everything went well you should be pregnant in 5 weeks
wierdest thing is my RE have been monitoring me for years now and i just hardly ovulate on my own this u/s at newhope Noni told me that looks like you ovulatedfrom left ovary

Matt is great I just think he is a bit overwhelmed.. he is very helpful anytime I have called.... He has reminded me numerous times not to get my hopes up to high which he is right.... Its a HUGE letdown in its a neg....

OMG I cant believe I found this site!!! I went for my first visit and was told Im accepted. Tomorrow I have my second visit to find out which package I have.

It also took several days for me to get an answer and I got the same email message that they have more then expected so it may take a while.

Did anyone else start yet?

This is a fantastic experience. My DH and I think of it as a gift from our Lord!!!! You will find the experience quite organized and systematic. I drew the mini-IVF and I'm on BCP until my next visit on Nov. 20th. I imagine that is when I will start chlomid. Congratulations on being accepted!

I have to say I'm getting so frustrated with this clinic. It's been 2 days since my Egg retrieval and I haven't recieved one phone call about anything.. I had to call yesterday to find out how many fertilized after Matt said they were going to call me and that was like pulling teeth just to get a very vague answer. Today I'm still in the dark after being put on hold 2x and even having my husband try... I still know nothing.. I understand they're busy and have many patients but when someone says their going to do something, I expect them to..This is the most stressful time of IVF and to not know anything about whats going on, It's wrong to do that to someone. Good luck to all you girls and I hate to sound negative but be prepared to go thru hell and back with these people.

Hello everyone. I have a question about the YAZ birth control pills. I've never been on BCP before. I am having a light period ... is this normal? If I am still having my normal period while I am taking the pink pills ... I'm not sure why I am on the pills ... will I have another period when I start taking the white pills? Seems like this is really going to mess with my cycle which has been like clockwork.
