New Hope Fertility Center Clinical Trial
I know of one other person besides myself doing this trial, so I wanted to see if there were any other girls out here who were involved in this trial. Hopefully we can all stay in contact!

 Stephanie 27 DH 27 TTC-actively 3 years, not-not trying (hehe) 5 years before that. HSG-10/05 normal. LAP-10/05 endo (Stage III or IV), fibroids & polyps in uterus, and a cyst on left ovary-all removed. Pacemaker-08/06 LAP/Hysteroscopy-03/08 endo removed, tubes flushed, D & C. No fibroids, polyps, or cysts!
Dh wants to stay child-free for the long haul. I do not. On a break that I hope isn't permanent. 07/09-After 2-3 months of irregular cycles diagnosed with PCOS. Now 3 months of provera to regulate. www.myspace.com/stephaniehorst http://stephaniehorst.blogspot.com/

Me: 36 - stage 2 endo DH: 37 - perfect TTC 2 years 10/24/06 +hpt 11/29/06 missed m/c-D & C  10/25/07 first visit to RE 10/30/07 HSG-tubes are clear 3/4/08 lap-found and removed stage 2 endo 5/08-IUI w/clomid and injectables. Didn't need to---> 4/26/08-  on hpt!!! Natural Cycle4/28/08-1st Beta 15 dpo-516!  4/30/08-2nd Beta 17 dpo-1286! Grow baby grow! 5/14/08-1st U/S-one perfect heartbeat!  5/21/08-2nd U/S-baby measuring on schedule! 7/28/08-Level II ultrasound-It's a GIRL!!! TTC #2 since July '09 - naturally for now.

32 - Unexplained 32 - Male Factor  TTC #1 since 8/2003 Uterine septum removed in 2005 8/2005 BFP then M/C 2007-2008 A whole bunch of IUI's and 2 IVFs w/ ICSI, no luck Royal Jelly / Bee Pollen daily as of 7/23 ER 1/27 ~ 12 eggs, 8 mature, 8 fertilized! ET 1/30 ~ 2-8BB's & 1-8CA. 2 AB Blasts frozen! HPTs 6dp3dt until Beta. All positive! Beta 2/13 14dp3dt ~ 1391 ; P4 ~ 206 O M G ! 18dp3dt ~ 4677 21dp3dt ~ 11301 U/S 3/4 ~ TRIPLETS! All 3 h/b 144bpm! U/S 3/27 ~ All 3 measuring ahead and the h/b's are in the high 160s - 170s U/S 4/18 ~ NT, all is well! U/S 5/26 ~ The babies look perfect! 2 girls & 1 boy!!! U/S 7/15 ~ Over 7lbs of babies! U/S 8/6 ~ 9lb11oz of combined baby weight. Baby A 3.2, Baby B 3.6 & Baby C 3.3 U/S 8/18 ~ Baby A 3.12, Baby B 4.00 & Baby C 3.12. Cervix high and closed! Delivered on 8/27 @ 32.2 weeks! All healthy!

Me- 25 PCOS & Endo Stage II, Lap 1/2007 Dh- 35 Fine 9/06-11/06- 3 Clomid w/ IUI BFN 9/07-1/08- 5 Follistim Cycles BFN 3/08-11/08 8 Natural Cycles w/ Metformin Cycle #9 BFP 1/10/08! 1/12- Beta #1 53 1/14- #2 138 1/31- 1 little bean with heartbeat 3/11- NT scan all good 4/10- 16w, looks like a BOY!!!! 4/22- 18w 4/29- Fetal echo - No VSD & heart looked good, thank you lord!!! 5/6- 20w, & baby 12oz 5/20- 22w, & baby 1lb 3oz 7/1- 28w, & baby 2lb 12oz 7//26- 31w5d preterm labor, baby 4lb 10 oz, bedrest and meds until 34 weeks 8/11  8/14- 34w, & baby 5lb 14oz 8/25- 36w, & baby 6lb 12oz, 1cm dilated 50% effaced 9/2- 37w, 1cm dilated, 70% effaced, -2 station 9/9- 38w 2cm, 90% effaced 9/15- 39w induction, our baby boy arrived weighing 8lb 2.5oz and 20inches long!!!!  Thank you lord for our blessing please continue to protect our baby and keep him out of harms way

New Hope Participant!
Hi, I think I may be a participant, I recieved an email with a medical form to fill out, after sending the form back within minutes I got an email saying they will contact me soon about my first visit to the center. How did you find out you were a participant for sure?

Hi Dittoxtina. I got another email after that one saying that they are overwhelmed with the response and that they are working as fast as they can to screen everyone. So I'm not technically a participant yet. I didn't get the other email for about 5 days after I did the screening online, so I would give it some time to hear from them.
Jen-The trial is in New York City. Mia-It has been so long since I've heard from you! I was just wondering how your bean is doing. I've not been actually accepted yet. Just based on my online screening they say it appears I will be a good candidate. So now its a waiting game until my first appointment. I know that it is going to be a fairly long trip there for me for the appointments, but I still think I'll be saving tons of money in the long run!

Thanks Stephanie. I passed the information on to my aunt and uncle who have been trying since they got married 9 years ago. I know that cost was the big factor in why they haven't pursued treatments, they are "unexplained." But as you mentioned, while you may be spending money on the travel you'll still be saving a ton by doing this as a trial candidate.

I'm so excited! BUT at the same time I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
Stephanie and Amy...What state do you two live in? I'm in Florida, so I will have to do alot of traveling with this clinical trail, but I think it's so worth it! It's just a waiting game as of now for all us  I"ll keep you guys posted if I hear anything new. Good luck to all!
