Good luck at your first OB appt, April! Wow - another milestone. I agree with you - I would just let them check it out for themselves rather than show them your other pics. I'm thinking that they will want to do that anyway. Loved your pic yesterday! It was really amazing to see.

BTW, what did you decide to do about your suppository the morning of your u/s? I think I'm going to run into the same issue in a few weeks when I switch from PIO, so I was wondering what you ended up doing? I think my appt. is in the afternoon - so I guess the morning suppository would dissolve by then? I have no idea, since I haven't used one before.

Hi Nanoo - Sorry, I can't be much help since I didn't POAS until AFTER my 2nd positive beta and don't have much experience in this arena. I just didn't have the guts to do it before. Had you been testing to make sure the trigger was out of your system? Again, I have no experience with this, but remember reading how other ladies would do this. I am praying for the best for you!

Thanx Lisa and BSN well I had 2 sticks at home. I said what the heck if its gonna be a BFN then its gonna be a BFN just have to accept it. So I said lets just see whats going on...i used one stick today at 5dp3dt and then Ill use the second one 10dp3dt and then I have my beta on Tuesday August 18th ( 12dp3dt ) and Ill have my final answer. I cant change whatever the fate is gonna be * sigh *

Mandy my dear my beta date has changed to next tuesday august 18th 09. RE said its ok to come and get the beta done earlier than the 20th.

Anyways one thing I know DH has already promised me that we wont give up, we keep trying until we see a BFP so that makes things easier on my head.

It was Carseatfreak who took all those HPT!!!! can't remember the page but it you look at the list you can get an approx. date according to her ER.... count 12 days from that date and search for that date on the boards.... good luck

Well I am back from the doctor they just drew a beta to check and will recheck on Thursday. The doctor said we would not gain anything by doing an ultrasound (I guess my piece of mind doesnt count lol) he explained that right now all we would see is a sac and that it wouldnt tell us anything because even if I was losing the baby it could still be there so.... i have gone to the bathroom 3 times since and no more blood but really scared me because everyone I have seen with any kind of normal spotting has had older brown or pink spotting and this was alot and very fresh red.They should call in the next hour with my result today I figured it from Wed's# and doubled every 3 days and then also figured it at 60% increase every 2 days and I come up with todays should be 2500-2600 if ok

4th BETA @ 17dp5dt is 960!!
Yeay!
But, an RE (who did not even know me) did not see a sac today at 5 wk, 1 day.
He really seemed to think ectopic & I said "wait a minute buddy MY TUBES ARE BLOCKED WITH Sterilazation WIRES THAT'S WHY I AM HERE!!!"
I have faith that this is not right. It could be a problem/no baby but it is NOT an ectopic.
MY real RE called & said to come see HIM tomorrow. Cannot be ectopic bec. of my wires& the machine in room 2 is not as accurate. Probably just early & didn't see a sac.
It made me sad how quickly first dr was to dismiss me today. What if I had had five failed IVF's & just felt upset & came home & stopped meds today and there's ababy in there that he didn't bother to be certain about? Where is the compassion? I am a therapist and I treat my patients with love and compassion, even when they are angry or hating me or completely psychotic. When did we just become a womb?
Sorry to vent. I just always try to treat people in a way that considers how they will react as if God is watching my interaction.

I completely understand your worries, I just wanted to let you know that I had a really bad scare at about 6 weeks. I woke up one morning to find a lot of dark red blood that looked like my period and I even passed a clot. I went to my dr and he did an u/s and found that the sacs were still there and that i had a lot of old blood in my uterus. I continued to spot old brown blood until this week now Im almost 8 weeks. The spotting has just stopped, so just take it really easy until your u/s. Im sure everything is fine!

Sarahmommy- Congrats that is a fantastic beta. I am happy for you. I would not worry about that first doctor since you know is not possible. Wow its like he didnt even look at your chart. Thank goodness you get to go in tomorrow and see your doctor.Keep us posted as to what you find out
