Well, I am in the same boat! I repond very well to stims, grow lots of follies and then e2 goes nuts. Last cycle, they harvested 63 eggs!! You are right, the follies pump out estrogen wich is why there is a relationship between follie count and e2. They want eggs, but not too many. We are hoping to limit my production to bewteen 20 and 30. Less is more for us hyperstimmers b/c if e2 is too high, the cycle is at risk. If my e2 runs too high, we freeze everything and do an FET the following month in order to maximize chance of success. I know I would be disappointed if it came to that but a BFN is way worse. If the RE says we feeze, we freeze. I will have to deal. I would ask the question very specifically what the doc is doing different to make sure this cycle can be successful. Sometimes asking the right questions gets you the best care! Keep me posted!! (I hope you don't mind me tossing that out there.)

Hi Ladies,

I had my suppression check today. It was wonderfully uneventful. No cysts and ovaries nice and calm. My e2 was 35 and my lining 14. RE wants AF to come and clean that out. They asked me to call Thursday and report progress on that front. They may have me hold off on the estrogen patch until she shows. I only finished BCPs 2 days ago so I don't know why they thought it might have started already!

Anyway, I have good news fo all you girls that are starting Lupron (who I might have scared with my complaints..really sorry about that!). RE said that the Lupron is responsible for moodiness but that the Dexamethasone gets credit for the insomnia and stunning weight gain. He did say that after about 6 or 7 lbs, it should level off (which means it should have leveled off already but I was too embarrassed to say that). He also said that if I realy can't sleep, he will have me take half a pill since he doesn't think its useful for me to be exhausted through the process. I will try and stick it out at least for a few more nights before making any changes.

So now, I am sitting in Newark airport waiting for our flight to Miami which is late due to the thunderstorm outside. Fingers crossed we don't get canceled!

As for the POAS, I will not use those evil sticks!! Sure, if it is positive, its awesome but if it is not, the 2ww is agonizing. I would rather hold on to the hope that the cycle could be successful than face the BFN morning, noon and night until beta day...b/c if it is negative, you just keep on peeing on the darn things hoping and praying for the most faintest of lines! I aint doing that again! Whose with me?

Hey girl I just read one of your post you had 63 eggs...good God lady... they had to cancel your cycle or what? just curious as to what happened...how many did they freeze, how many fertilized and how many left

Maybe you can call your nurse and see if it will be a problem that you haven't bleed yet... I am thinking your levels had to be right for them to start your meds so maybe you won't bleed... I am sure it will be okay!!!!!

Oh, funny side note, I told DH that starting next week we are "pregnant" and we will be acting like it... he about had a heart attack when I told him I cannot have Hot Dogs or Deli Meats. We were laughing so hard b/c the online report said something along the lines of "Beef is bad, Chicken is bad, fish is bad, no Deli Meats" so we were like "So we have to become Vegans?!" So I compromized with him and we will begin buying the Hebrew Kosher hot dogs!

POAS--I'm not sure. I don't know if I can handle a negative. I also don't think I would be confident in it if it said positive either.

Extra Embies--Well, I doubt that will be a problem, as I am a poor responder. I'll be happy to get eggs this time! I did research before our first cycle, and thought about what I would do if we had extras. I think I would potentially try to have two more children, then would adopt any leftover embies. I would want to know if any children resulted, as they would have bio siblings.

4th of July--Not sure what we are doing. Probably having a cookout with friends and maybe going to the parade. We usually watch the fireworks from our house.

AFM: I go in for b/w and u/s on Thursday! EEK!!!!

Glad to hear AF came to visit for those of you who were waiting. Tygerlilly, hopefully she comes soon. I didn't know hotdogs were off limits too. Doesn't it make you wonder a little if you shouldn't eat all these things while pregnant are they really okay to eat when you're not? What's in a hotdog anyway?

Angie-Wow, that is bright and early. We'll probably cross paths. My appointment is at 8. Hope it goes well tomorrow. Glad I'm not the only one who has been exhausted lately. It doesnt' help that I"m battling a cold and work is sheer craziness but man, it's been a struggle.

1. I'm not much for POAS. Not sure why. I guess I'm too afraid of the possible error involved. We'll see what I decide to do when the time comes.
2. We are going to spend the weekend at the in laws' "cottage" (actually a house but it's still considered the cottage). It's also likely that we'll have to make a trip back for u/s and b/w.

Well, I guess it's about that time to jab myself a few times in the belly. Oh the joy.
