i just LURVE this board! mandy, you are an awesome
"board mother." i love how you have kept everyone so organized!

congrats to all of you who were graced with 's presence today. it is so weird to welcome her this one time! amen, mandy, hope it's the last you see of her for nine months!

sorry to all of you who cannot eat tomatoes after my comment yesterday! hee hee! i even told my RE about it this morning and he died laughing. he's a cool guy.

caty, we are exactly on the same schedule! i am feeling good, for the most part--the headaches are gone, but i am really feeling crampy on either side because of the growing follies. i'm trying not to complain though because i want them to be big, grade A's! i can really see the bloat today, too. busted out some stretchy waist capri pants. oh well. such is life. the end justifies the means, right?

missthuyn--i hope you are feeling better today!

AFM, appt today went well. About 21 follies...about 10 of them around 16-18. yay! Trigger tomorrow, ER FRIDAY, ET MONDAY, 7/6.

QOTD: still undecided on the POAS. knowing myself well enough, i'm sure i'll do it. i have a stash under the bathroom sink that will be calling my name.

4th of July: I have to travel 2 hours to the facility where they are doing my ER and ET, so we are taking a motor home up (it's in TN) and will spend Fri afternoon after the ER, Sat, Sun and Monday in the mountains. I'm going to go back thru the board here and hit up Barnes & Noble tomorrow and get some of your reading suggestions and just kick back for a long weekend up there. No worries, I'll have the laptop with me and will continue updates.

Blessings to all of you!!

lindsay

Busy...busy...busy...

Yes...I know of Karen Carpenter (not my time...I'm 29!). I guess he's working on another. His daughter said there are some steamy sex scenes in it...and that she can't read it b/c of that. Can you imagine...ick...sex scenes written by your dad!

Mandy911 and luckyday...yay for af coming.

threelittlebirds - good luck on your ER and definitely keep us updated.

Tygerlilly - oh yes...the hot dog thing. I actually made hot dogs wrapped in bacon, topped with cheese and bbq sauce tonight on the grill before dh got home (my boss told me how to cook these...it took 2 packs of hotdogs b/c I scorched the first ones - the grill was seriously smoking! Dh does the grilling usually...). It was my last hot dog for the next 9 months and I SO ENJOYED it. DD loved it too! We never have hot dogs at home. She ate a whole one and was dreaming of another but she's not big enough to hold it.

Grunner - :welcome

To all I missed...good luck in whatever step you are on to becoming a momma!

No Hot Dogs Huh?

Ok so what is with no hot dogs in pregnancy? I have NEVER heard that before. I guess you learn something new everyday!! Of course it doesn't matter to me because I am a vegetarian:-)

I can't believe I am not sleeping yet. The drugs are making me an absolute lunatic today. I never yell at DH but I have been snapping at him all night! Poor guy.....

lilcbru - Yeah I can't stand those Duggars! I mean they seem nice and all but it drives me CRAZY that they have so many children with ease....

mabelina - if I am still in the office at 8 I will not be happy I am going to need a nap big time before working tomorrow!!

Welcome Grunner!

Yes, so annoyed by the Duggars but like you I can't help but watch. I had to watch and find out tonight if what's his name (the son) and his wife were having a boy or a girl..not that I really care (they're having a girl by the way). After that I was channel surfing and switched it briefly to a show on MTV about 16 year olds having babies (yeah, like I REALLY need to watch that right now) and they showed the baby after it just came out. DH looked at me with horror on his face. He's got a really weak stomach and does not take blood and gore very well. He/we really might be in trouble with the whole delivery room thing.

Hi everyone!
POAS - I am going to try not too. I am even thinking that I might have them call DH with the beta.
But then again, I might just sit at the lab all day until they tell me.

July 4th - I didn't want to make plans because I wanted to do whatever I feel like. A little hormonal? maybe

I love the Karen Carpenter story!

AFM - Had my start visit today. I had the first good visit today than I have had in what seems like forever. For the first time I actually didn't have a cyst. Yeah! so we can move forward as planned.

Question I found out today that they may do a 3 day transfer or they may do a 5 day transfer. What are most of you doing?

to all!

Yeah, I saw they were having a girl. I don't dislike Josh and Anna as much as the parents. I feel bad for the kids. It must really stink to be put before the camera like that, without really being able to say you don't want to be in the limelight. Josh really seems to eat it up though!

That is so funny about your hubby! My DH is like that too. He can't even watch when I get an iv or a blood draw! When we had our dd, it was a c-section, so he didn't have to watch.

Another thing to think about for Extra Embies - This is the one paper we didn't sign today. Still thinking on that one.

I met with a counselor who used be a fertility nurse. She said that for most couples those who are not successful are usually more likely to give them away than those that are. Couples that are sucessful often worry about their child having a genetic sibling out in the world.

I had never thought about it that way.

Hi Ladies

I just got word that I am starting my #1 IVF this month. I am excited, but also very scared. My husband has low motility and low morphology. I check out okay, except lower antral count 11. My FSH was good so my RE is a bit puzzled. Anyway just ordered all my medications today and scheduled to start Lupron in a few days. We are paying out of pocket. I didn't qualify for shared risk since my antral count is boderline Anyway we decided to try for two cycles and hope for the best. I don't know if we can afford more than two cycles either emotionally or financially. I have been reading the blogs for awhile and finally decided to join.

LOL that is funny about the blood and gore... my DH is the total opposite... he is a USMC so it doesn't bother him one bit...he will probably be wanting to help the Dr. deliver...lol... His famous saying is Pain is just weakness leaving the Body!!!! JarHead til the day he dies!!!!! as far as the Duggars thing... I know a lady that used to live down the road from me when I was much younger... she had 22 kids and 2 of her kids went to school with me ... I didn't see no show about her on TV...lol now that was a family... Oh and where I was raised most of those people was old Catholics and they didn't believe in birth control so they all gave birth to an entire football team... lol I don't watch the Duggars... I would rather watch HOUSE!!!!! Hugh Laurie RULES!!!!
