The craziness continues
Mwalls - My doc is Dr. Nakajima. I love hime. Hope you get your
. How does Dr. Bohler look? That is neat that we live in the same town. How are your stims going I start lupron on the 4th. Fingers crossed for your b/w and u/s. How far is Avon from Louisville.Missthuyn - Yeah So happy showed up for you. Happy ur cyst is gone!!!!!Mandy - They moved my schedule today. I start lupron on 7/4 and my last BCP 7/10. Ultrasound, E2, B/w 7/17. If good then decrease lupron to 5 units and start stims. They will let me know about ER and ET later. So sorry about the cyst I get them non-stop that's why I try not to get my hopes up. Threelittlebirds and Cathy - so excited that you guys are up for transfer. to all the newbies cause lord knows a turned my back for one minute and we are on fire.QOTD - Passion -- I'm passionate about childern and animals thus my current situation with my families childern. Vacation -- None this year with the IVF, house and Custody but it will be worth it. 4th of July --- I will going to GA to pick up my sister's child on friday, spending the night, coming home, going to the waterfront for the fireworks and concerts, and starting my lupron ... my sister better watch out this weekend any BS and i'm not going to hold back. POAS -- I did it everyother time but i'm not this time too much too much stress ... i'll try not to very hard to resist i've never seen BFP and would love to have it. Day 3 or 5 and how many? Well this is it depending on how the eggs are doing we are shouting for a 5 day transfer.... my dr only does 2 no matter what day and they sometimes only do 1 on day 5 so i think i need to have a talk with about that cause i really want this to work. To everyone starting stims good luck and have a great time this weekend. AFM --- I am going to Ga to get my sister's middle child and taking a break from packing this weekend. I will be back in full force on Monday. I had a SIS done at my docs office and heard the doc and u/s tech going what is that and what is that so now i'm scared about what they saw. I am waiting on my meds now and thank good that insurance is finally doing something to help me and my copay was 40 dollars. Lord knows right now that we need all the help we can get on the money front with the house, and the court for custody, and moving and buying fruiture. I think my house may be bear for a while but we all have beds so i'm happy about that. We have decieded that once again this is a bad time for me to start school so i had to withdraw again. I know my time will come and bless my dh for crying with me when we realized that i couldn't go back right now. So has you can see I will do whatever it takes to protect my family and for the childern to have a great life. ![]() |

The nurse said that they do 5 day transfers if you have enough eggs and they are progressing well. If they aren't progressing well or you don't have very many they will put in at 3 days so that your body can give them a better chance. That was the level of detail I got. I guess I will know more later.
Have a great day all!

My doctor will only transfer 2, unless they have a lower quaility. He said that is the standard for my age and feels after going over my history, that 2 is the most he will do.
As for 3 or 5 day transfers, they do both, but it depends on how they look at day 3. If they see 2 perfect ones on day 3, that is when they will do the transfer. If they don't see a frontrunner, they will hold off until day 5.

Tigerlilly- We are so close! My RE is also a Christian and from day 1 I have gotten the best vibe from him. I know he has a business to run, but NEVER have I felt that he wasn't giving me the very best advice and counsel on treatment options. He's worked diligently with us to help us find the most cost effective options and he always encourages me to lean on my faith when I feel down and have doubts.
Good luck to you! It sounds like you are in good hands. |

Hey ya'll! I feel soooo out of the loop! This board is on FIRE!!!
to all of the new ladies. I had to take some time off, I knew was coming because she always sends "warnings before destruction". I have the absolute worst menstrual migraine headaches and cramps for days prior to the start of my cycle. So she officially showed up yesterday. The headaches have eased a bit but it is still difficult to manage with cramps and all of the other side effects that I am experiencing. But I am glad to be back. lilcbru - I am so with you on the Duggars. What are they drinking in that part of Arkansas where they look in each others direction and nine months later a new Duggar magically appears!? And can I get some... As far as the QOTD's - Here we go... 4) Where are you going for vacation this summer? I am doing IVF instead of taking a vacay although I desperately need one 5) What are you passionate about? Jesus! Church!! 6) What's everyone's 4th of July plans for this weekend? Rest and more rest 7) POAS or Not? Oh yeah! I bought a multi pack already and they must go to good use 8) Are you doing a 3 day or 5 day transfer? My RE says 3 but he also says it depends on the way the embryos are looking 9) How many embryos are you planning on transferring? I want 3, my husband and RE say 2. But we will see who wins in this stale mate. I have a lot of patience and don't plan on budging. 10) What names do you have picked out for your baby boy/girl? a. Caleb Asher b. Noah Gray c. Naomi London d. Hannah Grace

Hey Ladies and
to the new ladies and husbands to the forum!I know I keep complaining about how sick I've been, but oh man!, I've been really sick! At this point, I don't even know what is causing it. I'm all all kinds of meds! DH has been really kind and somewhat helpful! QOTD: I'm not sure about the 3 or 5 day transfer. We never talked about it with the RE. Whatever increases my chance of getting .Also, I would like 2 or 3 embryos transferred. But that all depends on the quality. If they are really good, I will go with 2!!! And the fun stuff, baby names! I only know for sure the middle names. For girls, I'm thinking Mai-ly and/or Mai-vi. Those are Vietnamese names. As for first names...it's still a debate among DH and I. For boys, I like Jeremy Chau. Chau is for a friend of ours who passed a few years ago.

Welcome Back AlliJ!! Unfortunately I understand exactly what you mean with the AF headaches. I can often use it as a predictor as to when she will show!!
Nurse just called and my E2 jumped to 2325 so they are reducing my Gonal F to 150. This big jump can't be good for my eggies so I am not happy but there is nothing I can do but move forward.......

Loving it!
Dear cycle friends and board mother:
I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN READING THE POSTS!! This forum rocks! As for the 10 Questions, here we go: 1) Where do you live and what clinic do you attend? to the new ladies and gent! this is the best board--everyone here UNDERSTANDS. in a way, it is pure therapy.had my tomato check this morning (love it, angie! sounds much better than "follicle check") the crop looks GOOD! doc sent me home with the HCG trigger shot to administer at 11 tonight and NO MEDS tomorrow--no more lupron, no more menopur, no more u/s and b/w...just a day off. whew. ER is set for 8 a.m. Friday. They are doing the transfer for me on day 3, which is MOnday, 7/6. how many? my doc's general rule is if you're under 30 he doesn't like to transfer more than 2. fine by me. we'll be freezing the extras, just in case. side effects: many of you have asked over the course of the last day or so about various side effects of these drugs we're all taking. here's my personal experience: LUPRON: had bad headaches at first, but think most of it was b/c of BCP's and coming off caffeine. other than that, it did increase my appetite slightly, but not bad. it mainly just made me really tired! MENOPUR: hot flashes within an hour of administering and now toward the end, bloating and soreness around the ovaries, especially at night. had bad migraine the 2nd day on the menopur, but none after that. hope that helps....also i've mentioned this before on this board (it's probably 50 pages back at this point now!), but for those of you starting the shots, it helps SO much to be sitting when you do it. being seated helps create a natural little fat roll. just pinch that and inject--and hopefully you won't feel a thing. for all of you feeling yucky today, i hope you feel better soon! QOTD: names: BOY--Jaxon, GIRL--Ellison

I've had the hot flashes for awhile, not sure if it started on the first day, but soon after. I don't remember having this as a side effect last time, but I do remember headaches. Maybe the hot flashes weren't such a problem in the winter. to all the new people!Dee-Dee--Sorry to hear about school. It will be worth it though! Mandy--I hope you are feeling better. QOTD: My RE does 5 day transfers. He initially said he would do 2 embies, but I asked about 3, and he said that was the limit. I guess it also depends on how many we even have. Names: Our DD is Jillian Nicole. DH picked her name, so I get this one! I love Evangeline for a girl, with either Morgan (for my sweet cousin who volunteered to be an egg donor for me) or Marian (after a departed loved one) as a middle name. For a boy, I like either Michael (DH), Joseph (DH's Grandpa) or Miles (DH's Grandpa. I have come up with variations of those names as first/middle. AFM: I have a terrible cold and just feel generally crappy. I'm trying to decide if I should skip yoga tonight. Oh, has arrived! I have my b/w and u/s tomorrow. I am pretty anxious about follies...or tomatoes!

Everyone is crazy on this board and I love it
. I love all the baby names also, it makes it more real I think when we talk about names. I have noticed that the menopur has stopped burning...is this bad? I'm not ocmplaining about it , but I want to make sure that its ok. I am VERY swollen/bloated in the abdominalregion, and that makes me feel fat as heck. My boobs are also "solid as a rock" as my hubby says lol
