I hope this zofran kicks in soon.
Love you guys.

Martha in my first trimester I was soooo sick throwing up and couldn't hold nothing down... I couldn't take no more... I went to my OB and he said I was dehydrated and put me in the hospital with an IV... thing is I felt like a million bucks after the 2nd day on IV... you may need to call your RE and make sure you are not dehydrated... I am thinking of you my honey and hoping your feel better soon!!!! Please call your RE about how sick you been!!!!

If you threw up you may have thrown up the pill. If this is the case you should ask your RE about alternative ways to stay hydrated, the lack of hydration and food is actually bad for you... let me know how things go and I will pray that it lets up enough for the Zofran to kick in.

Mine hasn't yet. I started today and they only are letting me take it every 12 hours.

I am soooooooooooo tired of being this sick.
I love you for caring about me.

I take mine q6 hrs, or as needed. I have been on it every 6 hours though. It depends on the dosage they give you because you can only take a certain amount in a 24 hour period. Mine takes about 30-40 min to kick in.

Martha, howdy!! Hola mija!! What's going on with you and the twins? Praying everything is better.[quote=chuchu]

Sweetie
Thanks for asking. I have been better that is for sure. I feel like you feel when you have a stomach bug and all you do is throw up.
I am terrible. I am trying to zofran drugs today so I hope for the best.
I need prayers that God will keep my babies safe and take this terrible morning, day, and night sickness away from me.
Lots of love to you

How about you?
Thanks
Martha

Mandy: April 29th!!!!

XaaApril: Great news I am so happy to hear about your little one.

Enci: E-g-g-s!!!!! Go Enci!!!! Everything you wrote is absolutely right about pain & depression. Thank you for always knowing what to say & for being honest. I was thinking I'd just go to a regular OB, but now I think I really do need to see a perinatologist. LOL about the reading materials at your RE office. You and your DH are so sweet. What a good, amazing man.

Almost Erin & BothSides: Thinking of you.

Angie: DH can always sense AF. LOL Hooray for October! If for some reason I'm not around please PM me. I plan to keep up with everyone and want to see everyone's baby pics.

Martha: I really hope you feel better soon. I have been so worried about how you could possibly be hydrated through this. Hopefully that Zofran will work soon. If you can't keep the pill down see if they have a suppository for you. Just remember it goes in the No-No Place. It's not a vaginal suppository like our progesterone. LOVELY

AFM: The pain in my back is still present, but not as excrutiating as it was yesterday and the day prior. My next sono isn't until next week and it's at the new OB office. I don't even think I'm going to use that OB office, I think I should definitely be with a perinatologist. UGH... I'm a little emotional today.

Jandm- I secod the motion to go to your RE/OBGYN. Of course this advice is coming to you on Friday evening- but if you have a good urgent care center, they can rehydrate you. Seriously, dehydration is no joke! Can you sip cola or ginger ale? If you can get a natural (not caffeine) cola that may help the nausea- or ginger ale- when I was pregnant with my first son I was in Barcelona and I passed out in the market. I was revived by some gypsy women who advised me to always carry sugar cubes and dissolve them under my tongue when I got dissy- your body needs sugar and salt- you can absorb some of that through your mouth even if you can't swallow much. I am so sorry you are feeling so cruddy! My sickness with my 2d child was really severe (I was on IV hyrdation only for months!)- but once you start getting rehydrated you will feel somewhat better!

Don't be scared, its no biggie, but I think Mandy is right and you need an IV. Its just not healthy for you or the babies for you to be this ill.....

You know those are really great suggestions!!!! Pedialyte is what my RE recomended, I forgot about that stuff until you just brought this up!
