Hello ladies!!! I was looking to see if threelittlebirds posted about her ER... I guess she is resting...

Shania and Sadkrissy!!!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Friday afternoon... I had to go to my RE appt this morning and the nurse said good news and bad news... so of course I said bad news... she said can't start stimming yet progesterone is 154 and he wants it under 90... so then she gave me the good news, the cyst is shrinking and I have 14 resting follicles... so I have to go back to the doctor again in the morning for more b/w.... HOPEFULLY he will give me the green light to start stimming... I tell you the trip to the RE's office is killer... after tomorrow I will have made 4 trips this week... 1 1/2 hour drive there and back... and this Lupron headache won't go away... I hope it is not like this the whole time I stim.... God help me but again I will go through whatever to get the prize at the end!!!!!! Happy thoughts!!!!!!

hi all! i'm back! ER was just fine. I psyched myself out over it so much that I felt nausea last night .

but it was no biggie. i was given halcion, demoral and an antiobiotic shot. i was awake, but kinda not. the cool thing was that i got to see everything they did.

i did feel it, but it wasn't anything bad. we just got home from the 3 hour drive there, and i slept the whole way home and am now just being lazy!

and they got................9 eggs!!!!

thanks so much for all of your thoughts and prayers!

Mandy, I am sorry you have to wait longer. I hope all goes well for you tomorrow. I am going back on Sunday for another U/S and B/W... I am scared to death that I ovulated already that I am making myself sick with worry.

TLB, congrats on the egg count, thats great! How are you feeling now?

thanks tygerlily! i feel great (actually much better than i expected to feel). you, angie and cathy are coming up next! i almost made myself sick being so anxious about it. but trust me, it was not a big deal.

the dr's office told me that i can call after 10 tomorrow and they can tell me if there has been fertilization or not. they won't tell me how many, just if there was success....

so hoping that there IS success, i'll be heading in for the ET on Monday.

i start endometrin progesterone tomorrow, one in the morning and one at night.

my funny for the day: they let me watch as the embryologist put eggs in the petri dishes on a big screen that had a feed into the room i was in. (way cool). i told the RE and nurses that my eggs looked like dead flies. where that came from who knows?! lol. at least i didnt refer to them as some type of tomato based food.

threelittlebirds CONGRATS on a great retieval! nine is great! Now that thats over, youre on the slipperey slide to transfer and beta. I remember how great it felt to be done with the retrieval during my last IVF. The hard part was over, and I knew it, and felt SO INCREDIBLY reilieved! Im so happy for you. I hope you and DH are taking some time to relax together and get excited!

Sadkrissy-I totally understand how you're feeling. I have three older sisters all with IF issues-all different ones. And yet STILL, when I was diagnosed with secondary unexplained infertitily, I was shocked beyond words. and oh so depressed. I spent a year like that. Totally down and mad at my life and pregnant people everywhere. It was so hard. That year is like a black hole looking back. I hardly can remember any details at all. I was 27. Now Im 28. like you, I was so nervous about my first IVF. I was sure it wouldnt take. So sure that it would be a failure. I was incredibly stressed out all the time.
But you know what? It did work, and now I have a beautiful baby girl to show for it. And she is a litte dream come true. A badge of courage-bc the IVF and all that testing took TONS of courage. Im just so happy for you that youve started to become so proactive and start treatment while youre still young. You, with no chemical or lining issues should have and EXCELLENT chance of getting pregnant within just one or two cycles. I really hope its just one! Congrats on starting the process! This is the doorway to growing your beautiful family. Forge ahead.

Hi everyone, just one more post.
THE BACHELORETTE
Im really excited about the Bachelorette on Monday night, but just one concern--for those of you who are into it-- on the trailers or sneak peeks, or whatever, that show you whats to come in the next episodes, it showed some kind of "disfunction in the bedroom" and how distraught jillian was after. What the heck? I cant imagine how embarrassed that guy is going to feel when our entire nation of viewers sees THAT? Its going to follow him for life! And how personal! arent some things off limits for tv?

sweetpea, you are so right. i do feel a huge sense of relief now that the ER is over. it really was a bonding experience for me and DH. i think it really made him realize just all that i was going through.

and as for the bachelorette, i detest Wes as well! What is she thinking?? Further, for some reason I'm thinking it's going to be Reid with the problems in the bedroom....

i haven't gone back and caught up on all the posts, but will. i do see that there are some newbies, so to you all!

mwalls--might the insurance company in Louisville that you work for be Humana, by chance??

to everyone--i am very grateful for the support and prayers and want you all to know that i'm praying for you as well.

ThreeLittleBirds, I am so happy for you to be on the other side of ER (lucky duck!!). I am glad that it wasn't painful and that you got to be somewhat aware of what was going on. It really is miraculous when you think about it. We are so blessed to live in a time where medicine is advanced enough to give us hope when otherwise there would be none.

9 eggs! That's so great. I can't wait to hear the fert report tomorrrow! Rest well!!

Threelittlebirds-So glad everything went well today Now to hear the report tomorrow on how they fertilized. We'll be praying for a good one.

For those of you not feeling well, when did it start? I'm just waiting for it. So far so good but I know that could change very quickly...especially as I get closer to retrieval. I know it's different for everyone but just curious what to maybe expect.

Just dropping in to check on Mandy - sorry you have to wait but that is a lot of resting follies...holy smokes!

You were such a backbone and inspiration in the June thread...and I wish you all the luck in the world.

Along with the other ladies here - I know it seems overwhelming and it sucks now but it is really a neat experience - try to enjoy it as best you can.

Good luck girls!

Hey there! I had my baseline bloodwork and ultrasound today-everything is looking good for me to start my stim meds tonight (a day ahead of schedule)-hooray!

Sweetpea-thanks for all your advice! I think we have decided to try for Mr. and Mrs. Singleton (but that will probably change again tomorrow ). I think that I will second guess either decision (transferring one or two) but I know for sure if I only transfer one and it doesn't work I will regret not transferring two. I know we would be fine with twins also-the first few years would be crazy but my ultimate goal is to have babies-I am not going to be picky about the order or number in which they come. How is your cycle going? You are doing FET right? How do you prepare for that? No shots right? Just estrogen and progesterone?

Threelittlebirds-glad everything went well for you today. That stinks that your clinic doesn't tell you how many embryos fertilized. I would be begging them over the phone to tell me. I hope my clinic does-I never thought to ask them if they would tell me the number-oops!

Taking Chance and all other Bachelorette fans-I think the sexual dysfunction mentioned in the preview is going to be something lame-maybe a virgin or something. I could definitely see it being Reed's problem too though-he is kind of a geek. But after the whole Jason/Melissa/Molly fiasco last season, I do not trust ABC and the way they edit things. I think the final two will be Ed and Wes. They will make her keep Wes because fans like us watch and talk about him-good for ratings! But I love Ed and was so happy he came back!

Have a good 4th everyone! <---Not really appropriate but the closest thing to fireworks there was to choose from!
