Im glad you are feeling well TLB (I am being lazy today so I gave you an acronym lol).

So I am glad to report that when I used the restroom earlier... I still feel a tightness in my ovary area. That makes me feel a LOT better .

So DH and I went to Victorias Secret and purchased a really nice and comfy PJ set for my bed rest and 2WW. I bought a set that hopefully I will get to stretch to its full potential .

So, I have a QOTD for everyone:
What are you planning to do while on bedrest, and how are you planning to spend the 2WW?
AFM-- I have my best friend driving 5 hours down to hang out with me during the bed rest, and I purchased 4 books to read. I also took off a week after the ET to hang around the house. Not on bed rest, but not doing anything either . As for the shower/bath thing I was told by my RE absolutly not for 2 days...I know this is extreme, but I think I am not gonna get in that tub until I have to go back to work lol.

I hope you are not going to cry cause you think you are ovulating! Increasing estrogen causes the discharge, I have so much RE said he could see it on my cervix at my Ultasound a few days ago. YOU ARE NOT OVULATING:-)

I think Angie and Mandy are my new best friends... because they will tell me when I am being stupid lol.

I am freaking out, I actually feel emotional today (first time on my meds) and because I am freaking out I snapped at my DH for the first time today. I feel horrible and guilty and like I can cry at any second. Seriously I dont know what I would do w/out this forum...

Probably lose my sanity lol... my bassett hound is trying to attack my area rug now so I better remind her that we want the rug there (she has a history of moving rugs lol).

I'm freaking out a little too April. I'm so afraid I'm going to go in tomorrow and my RE is going to tell me I'm overstimming and will have to cancel the cycle. All day I've been thinking about it and paranoid that the twinges I'm feeling in my ovaries is me hyperstimulating. Well obviously I'm going to feel something...it doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, but I"m still paranoid. Since we've begun IVF I feel like I'm worrying about everything. I think it's kind of easy to freak out because we've waited a long time for this, have gone through a lot, and don't want anything to mess it up. So thankful for this group though. It definitely helps to have a sounding board.

April, I hope you are feeling better. We all feel like something is wrong, and most of the time, we're just paranoid. Goodluck on ER next week! I am right behind you!

As for me, I am on 4 days of stims, and I don't feel anything. I actually feel better than last week when I was just on Lupron. Weird? I don't feel my ovaries at all. I hope that I am actually responding to Gonal-f. It is my first time with Gonal-f. My RE agreed to see me Monday, instead of Tuesday. I was hoping sooner, but I guess not.

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Friday afternoon... I had to go to my RE appt this morning and the nurse said good news and bad news... so of course I said bad news... she said can't start stimming yet progesterone is 154 and he wants it under 90... so then she gave me the good news, the cyst is shrinking and I have 14 resting follicles... so I have to go back to the doctor again in the morning for more b/w.... HOPEFULLY he will give me the green light to start stimming... I tell you the trip to the RE's office is killer... after tomorrow I will have made 4 trips this week... 1 1/2 hour drive there and back... and this Lupron headache won't go away... I hope it is not like this the whole time I stim.... God help me but again I will go through whatever to get the prize at the end!!!!!! Happy thoughts!!!!!!

I'm sorry about the delay! 14 resting follicles sounds good to me! I hope you start stimming soon!

ok, so in answer to the QOTD, I dont know what Im going to do in the 2ww. actually, thats not true, Im flying to my friends wedding. Its going to be great. Three days of vacay!

But in my two days of bedrest, Im for sure going to be finishing the two books im into, city of theives and the thirteenth tale. That, of course, will be in between tubs of ben and Jerrys!
lol!

Last time I watched the first three or four seasons of desperate housewives. It was great.
Im really really behind on the office. I might hit that one up on netflix.

Thanks again girlies I really appreciate the support. I am wide awake now and it is 0100. Thats great b/c I get to wake up at 0630, lesss than 5 hrs from now. I am in a much better mood, I almost want to say the medications made me paranoid. I have had no side effects or anything since starting all the meds and now they changed my dosages and times so I think it is messing with my head a little bit. I did get a headache (I did not drink as much water today as I normally do) and I felt on edge all day. But I feel that it has passed so hopefully that is the worst of it. Good night all!

Tygerlily - Glad you were feeling a bit better about things late last night although as we all know, it can change in a second with all these hormones. For example I am feeling better this morning so I am wondering if I am ovulating again. Then I remind myself I AM NOT. Funny that your doggie relo's rugs! I have a cat that rummages through DD's play room and brings toys she can carry downstairs. I have seen her do as many as 15 an hour. I love animals even when they are a pain!

Mabelina - anxiously waiting for your report after you visit with the doc....

I am trying to decide if I should go to get togethers today or stay home and read My Sisters Keeper and cry every 10 pages..... Decisions decisions

update: just got off the phone with the RE"s office and there was fertilization!!!

for some reason, their policy is to not disclose how many fertilized--we just know that fertilization was successful.

so we have ET at 11 on Monday!

mandy--praying for you girl! 14 resting follies is great news, though. here's hoping you start the stims VERY SOON.

angie--ER! ya ready??

tygerlily--the emotions of this whole process are unreal. hope you are feeling better today. too funny about your bassett and the rug. i have a bassett hound, too! his name is clyde and he's so funny. he looks like an 80 year old man.

mabelina--praying for you and hoping that your doc's appt was positive. as for when i started feeling bad, it started about 4-5 days prior to the ER. just bloated and crampy and tired.

i need to go back to mandy's list to see where everybody's at right now...but no matter where you are in the process, i have my fingers crossed for you.

Just wanted to mention about the slimy discharge omg doi have that and the rn said that normal not worry so im using a panty liner.

and over stimulating ive gone to the re offince 8 days in a row to monitor me i started out really high on my e2 and they monitored my med and now im perfect. trust me when i went in for my first e2 check after stim and they told my i was really high i freaked out but than i prayed and tried to stay focused and trust in my res office....

well ast night went by really well thx lindsay (threelittlebirds) i thought about your story as dh did my trigger last night. i did not have time to put ice as we were in the parking lot in the car i just turned ove felt a little pinch and it was over...i did have dh take a marker and make ccircle around the spot so all he had to do is inject me in the center of the circle and that worked out just fine...


sooo angie dont wory ur dh will do just fine and you really wont feel anything menpur was much worse for me.

my er is at 7:30 and im soooo excitied AND I CANT WAIT....

threelittlebirds; im so happy and excitied for you.. i cant wait for monday!!!!

QOTD - we actually bought some bootleg movies - proposal, hangover & terminator so i plan on watching those i also want to buy step brothers too, my friends will prob come over and pick on me.. as for the 2ww i think im gna be a home body and not do much of anything...

Mandy - Great news that you have 14 resting follies! Lots that can grow into good big eggies! I'm sure you'll be ready to start stimming any day.

Tygerlilly - the hormones are the worst, aren't they!!??? I wish they got better. Last cycle (which was just injectables for me) I actually had to take a day off about 7 dpo b/c I just couldn't quit crying. I would talk and it would just turn in to tears...I even went in the office for a few minutes to do things and was a cry baby. This time I think it's getting worse earlier. I can cry at the drop of a hat! I just want to stay home and be depressed...but there are things that won't let me do that (dd...and she doesn't need to suffer while I go through this so I go about as normal as I can).

Am I the only one that doesn't trigger in my booty!!?? I use ovidrel for a trigger...what are you guys all using?

missthuyn - I didn't start feeling my ovaries working until day 5 of stims...don't worry too much. Just consider yourself lucky that you're not feeling so uncomfy yet. I'm sure there will be plenty of time in the next 9 months to feel that way!

sweatpea - I love Desperate Housewives! I just started watching it a few seasons into the show so I should go back and watch some of the first ones!

mabelina - hope all went well at your appt today.

This board is busy...for all I missed - good luck and hang in there...this stuff is rough!

AFM...I posted yesterday that my appt went well. I had lots of follies - my report was posted today and there are 7 between 14 and 15, and another 5 above 11 (and all but one of those is above 12). This is in character for me...my follies seem to get large and then I usually (pray) see a huge jump every 2 days in my e2 (this time it was 668). So...will find out tomorrow. I'm just glad to have 12 in the running!
