Happy 4th of July! I'm starting my stims tonight... in 1 hour, 35 minutes and counting. I am trying to mentally prepare for sticking myself 3 times tonight. I've been taking Lupron but will add Gonal-F and Menopur tonight. I'm scared but excited at the same time.
This is my first IVF, and I am a ball of emotions. Best wishes to all you ladies!!! Knowing that you're out there gives me hope that I too can make it through this process.

 So excited you decided to join us... Stimming is a piece of cake just like the Lupron... menopur may burn a little but it is not bad... Takingchances- you are too sweet... Angie056- Thanks Angie... you are coming up for retrieval Monday... did you trigger tonight or are you still stimming... Sorry if I missed your post!!!! AFM... I talked to a lady from the RE's office and she told me the reaso I have so many resting follicles is because of the BCP's .... isn't that something... apparently they calm everything down and you have more follicles for when you start stimming... Have any of you girls heard of such a thing... I didnt talk to my nurse but that is pretty interesting as to there is many underlined reason of why we should take the BCP's before the IVF cycle... What's your take on that!!!! Mandy

Hi BSN, the injections aren't that bad, the Menopur defiantly takes the cake though.
I am excited about the fireworks, but it is short lived since we snap right back into reality tomorrow to drive to San Diego for my next u/s and b/w. I want to try and see the movie now, but I hear that it has a different ending, so I will have to see if I like it or not. Hopefully I can drag the hubby tomorrow!

Mandy, I am so glad to hear that you were finally cleared to start stimming! Yay! At least that wait is over!! Sending good vibes for excellent follicular development!
BothSides, welcome and may the stim forces be with you too! Please update us on your progress! AFM, its our last day of vaca. Boy, have we loved veggie out on the beach. We have had such a fab time and are so glad we got the chance to truly relax before the IVF kicks in to full gear. I am also happy to report that cetrotide is not lupon's equally evil twin sister. I feel much better and g-d bless the makers of the estrogen patch!! I even think the bloating has subsided. According to the scale in the insanely gorgous spa, I lost 7 lbs since I got here. Oh yeah, that lifts the old spirits!! We fly back tomorrow and I start stimming thurs night. I know I only have a 33% chance of success but dare I say I am excited?

Hello ladies....
ER went perfect they collected 14 eggies tomorrow i will no more.ET is either wed or Fri. I am in allot of pain so I will be resting the rest of the day. Angie I can wait to hear about your report. You never did answer me how was the trigger and were did you end up doing it?? Well have a great sunday i am off to bed. If everyone who is stimming drinking lots of gatorade, eating salty food and high protein???

Angie, y u gotta poas? I thought I was the only paranoid one lol. So I had my us 2day and all is great! Re said 2 many follies 2 count lol. I have one at 18 already so I get hcg pooss 2morrow. I will write more once I gvet a real keyboard lol

Caty - Awesome number of eggies!! That's great news, can't wait to hear the fert report tomorrow!! My trigger went fine and I am going in for ER tomorrow at 9:30am. Right behind ya!!!!

Hi everyone,
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!! I have been without internet connection since Friday so I could not post. Here is my update: I started stims on 7/3. I am using 4 vials of Bravelle and taking one pill of Letrozole. In my u/s I had already 2 follicules in each ovary. I have to go back tomorrow Monday. Mandy, I had a different explanation about the use of BCPs... to clear out all cysts. During Friday´s u/s the doctor even commented on that behalf. I hope you get rid of yours by itself and quickly so we can cycle together. This board would not be the same without you! Caty, Congrats on your ER! Did anyone get a very light period after BCPs? I am asking hecause mine looked like spotting. Kisses!

Cathy - Congrats on a great ER today! 14 Eggs - Awesome!! Tygerlilly - Great u/s report! Angie - Good luck at ER tomorrow! Justonemore - 7 lbs!!! I have never went to the beach/vaca and lost weight! I must be doing something wrong. I'm with Mandy...I think we've just taken them from you. I feel so bloated...ugh...and I know it will probably only get worse! Bothsidesnow - Good luck with your shots tonight. I had to do 4 total so I feel your pain. I feel like I started to run out of spots towards the end b/c some were bruising. AFM - my appt went well this morning. I had some that were pushing 20. My e2 came back at 1700+!!! Wow! The nurse was impressed as it was only 668 2 days ago (I told her it always takes a huge jump between days 6 and 8 of stimming). Anyways...my retrieval is now this coming Tuesday (I think that's the 7th) and I am going in tomorrow for some bloodwork and pre-op counseling. I'm supposed to trigger tonight at 11:00 (ugh...I'm not a late night person). We're thinking about going to fireworks since they were postponed from last night b/c it rained here. That will make a fun evening getting dd to fall asleep after 11:00...and trying to stay awake to bd per dr. orders (that does not sound like fun with how I feel right now and how my ovaries and uterus feel). I can't believe how fast everything is moving along! How much time did you guys feel you needed to be down after retrieval. I am not sure if I will make it back to work the day after or not...what are your thoughts for those who have already been through it? Best wishes everyone!

Me (33) no problems after every test in the book DH (33) low numbers Married for 5 years TTC- almost 3 years 02/09, Fibroid removed IUI #1-11/08 IUI #2-12/08 IUI #3- 4/09 (all IUIs with Clomid) IVF #1 ET - 7/9/09 2 embabies transferred. 3 embabes on ice. Beta 1- 7/17/09 15.5 7/20/09: Beta 2 dropped to 5.2. "biochemical pregnancy" Moving forward.... Took a few deep breaths for about a month and finally truly moved forward with FET in August. Started Lupron and Estrogen then and moved into September. 9/16/09: FET of 3 blasts (all that were left...figured we should just go for broke) 9/25/09: 1st Beta: 35 (9dp5dFET) 9/29/09: 2nd Beta: 172 (13dp5dFET) 10/2/09: 3rd Beta: 617  10/6/09: Potenial tiny sac seen. Beta: 997 "borderline rise" 10/9/09: Sac definitely in uterus. beta: 1275, another "borderline rise". 10/15/09: Still just a sac. Not looking good. 10/19/09: Still just a sac. Stopping all meds.
