Just wanted to tell you ladies something.... I am sooo excited... my daughter just left to go to Orlando with her best friend Mikie Jo... she is auditioning for AMERICAN IDOL on Thursday.... she has to sign up on Tuesday... She is 19 and is an awesome little singer... So keep her in your prayers... she is like a daughter to me!!!!
Just thought I would share that with you wonderful ladies... this is so cool I will finally know someone on TV for real!!!!!

 Bothsidesnow and Alyson!Good luck TLB and Mabelina!  for Mandy! Glad you got to start stims.Cathy that is so great! It is so much fun reading how many eggs people have and how many are fertilizing. This is so exciting! AFM: I have been sick with this terrible cold/flu thing. I also had some terrible headaches. Not sure if those were from the meds or being sick. DH reminded me of the terrible headaches I had last time. I have felt a lot better today. I made sure to drink a lot of water and made sure to each when I took my Doxy. I have an appointment tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing how many follies I have.

I love reading about the retirievals too!
Cathy, what a great outcome, w yours!! Congratulaions!! I hope everyone had a fantastic fourth of July! we went to a parade, and kite flying, and skipped the fireworks. The kiddies were zapped by seven. Now Im totally sunburned, but totally happy we seized the day and did as much as we did. I keep thinking that it might be my last holiday unpregnant! (I know I should be able to check my hopes somehow, but I just cant!) for probably more than half of us, it will be just that. Im so excited for us all. Today I started my progesterone, and am trying to resist the unavoidable bad mood that it brings me. Today was fine. But after a few days on this stuff I turn into a dragon! my poor DH. At least we have the transfer on thursday to look forward too. The transfer feels like sacred ground to me, whether it works or not, because of whats actually happening, and the possibilities. Im so grateful to live in a time in history when these options are known and available to people like me! yay! Thursday is coming up super fast! And Im really looking forward to the two days on my back. Thats going to be so indulgent and fun. Good luck everybody!!!

Just got back from my weekend trip to the beach and am finally caught up! Congratulations Threelittlebirds, KittyKat & Caty561!
 for your ETs!Good luck tomorrow Angie056 AFM: I have survived my first 3 days of Lupron. Not bad at all, so far. I have a really bad sinus headache, but that is it. I go back to the doctor on Thursday for bw/us and I will know what is next at that point. QOTD from the other day, during my 2ww I am planning on knitting and just relaxing. A friend of mine is teaching me and I hope to understand it by then : ) I do have a question for you ladies, as you are all so knowledgeable. I accidently left my medicine container at our beach house and in it was my second to last BCP. I took my remaining one tonight, but will be one short. Do you think it will make a difference if I am one short? I am going to call the office and ask. I guess I could get a new prescription and just take the one pill. I was really good at packing and double checking before I left, except for the drawer that had the pill container in it...remembered about an hour into our 2 hour drive home : (

Wow this board has been active. I haven't been able to check in ..so much going on at work and at home. The lupron for me was a piece of cake as far as the injections. Not sure if it was the bcp or lupron but man I had a few days there that I was a basketcase haven't been snappy yet but was so insecure and crying over everything. I took the last bcp Tuesday and I wish I just spotted Thursday was heavy and didnt slow down until today. But went to RE Wed and he said everything looked great and my ovaries were resting like they should be so took my first stim last night. It was rough hurt(which I didnt expect) and then burned. I am on the Bravelle and Menopur but I mix all three Bravelle and the Menopur together in one syringe so only two shots(the lupron and the stims). Tonight I walked around with an ice pack on my belly for 5 minutes before the stim and was so much nicer. I didnt even feel the poke or the burn. Will go in for e2 tomorrow then they will call me with tomorrows dose. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow I know I dont want to go in to work.

A couple of months back I was on the June thread, but stopped posting because June wasn't happening financially. BUT, My husband and I are now full speed ahead for starting BCP's on CD3 towards the end of July and I am so excited I just had to start posting!!!!!!!!! I can actually see it all coming together now and am getting really excited about it! So great to think that soon enough all of this waiting and waiting for my first IVF cycle will be over and we will be on to the next step. TO ALL!

Angie, honey, don't freak out. I know it's so much easier said than done. My bp went up really high during mine, completely from stress. Relax and focus on the prize! Wishing you lots lof luck and sending you and your dh my prayers.
For those of who had asked about the time you should expect to need off after ER, I had mine on a friday and was down for the count for the rest of that day. Saturday I felt a little crampy/sore/bloated but nothing that kept me from going out on the lake. I'm on my blackberry heading up the highway for my ET. Still don't know how many fertilized! Such cruel and unusual punishment! But they are going to let us go back and see them magnified before the transfer, which is so amazing to me. I'm to the point now where everything in totally in God's hands now! Stick baby/ies, stick!! Cathy-i hope you are feeling better! hey guys well today brings bad news
. I was told by my insurance that gonal f is covered. Then wehn my doctor sent my prescription in they told me it wassn't covered! soooo I contacted fertility lifelines and they cover 1 cycle of gonal f as long as your insuranace company doens't cover it. Well we got denied because they were told my insurance DOES cover it! so I went to my hr department and told them everthing. I then got an email that i will have to pay 10%. Great! so I was about to call this morning to get my meds and I get ANOTHER email that no its not covered and sorry for all the back and forth!!! omg! girls I dont know what im going to do! im s upposed to start my meds wed!
