Hi everyone, just checking in to see if we heard from JOM.

I had my 'tweak' (extra acupuncture) today and hopefully my lining has gotten better. I called the RE's office today to find out what it was and they said 5. So, for a much higher number tomorrow when I go back for more bw & an ultrasound!

We are planning on taking DD to the Please Touch Museum tomorrow, so I will probably not get onto the computer until later in the day to update.

April - sorry to hear you have grumpy patients today. Hopefully your day is over by now and you can enjoy a nice weekend.

Just checking in one last time for JOM.

I stopped taking the baby aspirin about a week after the transfer. The RE said it was really only useful until implatation. I know it was July, but it seems so long ago.

Hope you all have a good weekend. I am planning to get some rest and do some of dd laundry tomorrow. Then we have 2 weddings tomorrow night, and we are still trying to decide which one we should go to.

Well, dh and dd are watching a moving and I am going to bed.

Judy - stop taking baby aspirin i was on it and re took me off as soon as my fist beta. i was only taking it to prevent from getting blood clots.

OMG everytime i go to the store i just cant help but buy something for my lil boy.

This weekend im having a yardsale and tomorrow im going to a babyshower, sunday dh & I will prob go to dinner & movie, he wants to men who stare at goats (so dumb).

DH mother works at a thirft store and she called me today that a whole bunch of brand baby boy clothes came in and i bought a couple of outfits and than went to walmart and bought a few other stuff. im only buying the lil stuff dh can use his cc for the bigh stuff....lol

lol have u tried maternity leggings? I would have to PAINT them on lol.... one size my booty lol.

haha I haven't even bothered with the maternity kind. the regular ones I have are stretchy enough at the top to either go up and over my belly, or I can fold em and wear em on the bottom half of my belly. It's all about how much spandex is in em! lol

About the leggings, that's all my sister wore when she was pregnant.

April: I'm not much of a meat eater, but steak does sound good! I'm worried about my diet during pregnancy. I'm bad at keeping myself healthy because I'm lazy to eat. Crazy huh? I just never had a big appetite and am a picky eater. I bought books that tells me what I should eat, and right now, I'm working on that! Hopefully the cravings and appetite kicks in so I can gain a healthy amount of weight.

HJ's mommy: Have fun at the weddings! Go to both! Or go to the one with better food!

Kate: I can't wait to have a lil' one to take out during the weekends. My weekends are boring right now, since DH works on weekends. Have fun with your lil' one!

AFM: I just cried watching "Legends of the Fall." Brad Pitt looks so good in this movie (and all of his other movies). But it made me cry! And today, DH asked me "why are you so moody?"...and I blew up! He should say that to a woman! Errr...I stormed out and cried! He apologized, and now I'm all better. I'm so nervous for tommorrow!

AFM, I am starting to have a little anxiety set in. I went to acupuncture yesterday and she told me that my energy was low. She asked me if I would consider taking herbs. She said it was a "tonification" program to prevent miscarriage. Now, since the only pregnancy I've ever had before ended at ~8weeks, all you have to do is say the M-word and I am terrified. Anyway, I told her I wasn't sure and that I would check with my RE. She gave me the information about the stuff she wants to give me (some kind of powder in a ziploc baggie) and I told her I would let her know next week.

I guess I feel like I'm screwed either way. If I don't take the herbs, I'm afraid I will miscarry and there was something I could have done to prevent it. If I do take the herbs, then if something goes wrong with the pregnancy I may blame it on this. Mind you, my RE is fine with where I'm at and nothing in my bloodwork suggests that I will miscarry.

Right now, I don't think I want to take the herbs, but I'm still going back and forth a little bit...

So, I wanted to ask you all...have you taken any chinese herbal medicine or natural supplements during your pregnancy? Would you if you were told that it could prevent a threatened miscarriage?
