ivf #1 - failed antagonist protocol. ivf #2 - canceled...formed first cyst. ivf #3 (technically) - transferred 4, low quality embryos. none made it to freeze. beta is 9/14. failed. ivf #4 - estimated ER 11/25 or 11/26. antagonist.

Addie and Marion - I am so very sorry. I feel so blessed today yet I know so many are learning their cycles failed - it's all so bittersweet. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Skogie, my hubby taught me that about pineapple too - if you can easily pull one of the 'leaves' out then it is ripe. I ate it all - I kind of like the core - but I was eating really ripe pineapples so that may have made a difference. Heather - twins - do you think? Really? I've been trying to research beta numbers and their correlation with twins and can't find anything that makes sense. Thank goodness we didn't implant 3 like I wanted to. I hadn't really thought about the possibility of twins - I really didn't think even one would stick around for the 9 month ride - to be honest - the idea scares the life out of me. But I will take whatever comes my way with grace and love...I know god will only give me what I can handle. Good luck tomorrow everyone!

I've done a fair amount of reading about egg quality b/c I have high FSH, which usually means very few good eggs left, and a lot of people report that acupuncture can make a real difference. Me - 41, High FSH (15.3) DH - 36, Totally fine! Married - 2 1/2 years TTC - 5 months First IUI, April 2009 - negative First IVF cycle, May 2009 (Having IVF in Japan, where my husband is from; I'm American) ER: May 26 (4 follicles, all 4 fertilized successfully) ET: May 28 (1 embryo transfered, 2 frozen, 1 not dividing well) Beta test: June 9 - positive! Beta 123 1st Ultrasound: June 16 - embryo at 4.7mm 2nd Ultrasound: June 23 - saw the heartbeat! 3rd Ultrasound: July 7 - embryo at 13mm 4th Ultrasound: July 14 - little embryo's heart no longer beating D&C scheduled for July 18 Will try again naturally in Sept, then on to 2nd IVF cycle (with stimms again) in October, 2009
