I don't blame you for wanting to get in early-I guess it couldn't hurt to ask!
I live over an hour from my clinic too and sometimes I get my blood work done out here, they can fax the order to quest lab or hospital.
Congrats!!!

OK -- set it up for Monday!! I'm feeling nervous because, unlike all my other pregnancies, I have not a shred of morning sickness. However, my acupuncturist tells me I'm not going to get sick this time, as that's one of the things she's been working on.

The worries never stop, do they?!?

I'm so thrilled to be pregnant, but so scared of something going wrong. Sigh.

The worries never stop but you have to just focus on the positive, send your little bean positive energy to grow and be strong. I believe they can feel stress we experience.(easier said than done)
I get acupuncture too but unfortunately this week the m/s is starting to kick my butt-went for acupuncture today and it seemed to help.
Don't worry about m/s every pregnancy is different. I'm sure you're great!

AFM - I feel your pain girl. I only got two betas 14 and 16dpo and don't get my ultrasound until I'm 7.5 weeks - imagine that wait. I'm going bonkers...

Waiting until Friday...but not patiently!

Congrats mlm and farler05 on your great news!

I haven't brought myself to POAS...DH and I agreed that we'd wait for beta on Friday. However, I am going NUTS! Thank goodness I'm working nights until Friday morning!

I'm anxious! My breast tenderness has gone away, and all I feel are abdominal cramps (not AF-like), and pelvic fullness. I do however, smell EVERYTHING-which does not seem to be covered by the progesterone supps.

Any thoughts-could it still be positive?

Thanks, mlm, for checking in. I did have my ET today. I confess that we were a little disappointed with the progress of our embabies - but the results explain so much about why the last two rounds of IVF failed. Our kids start our above average, but then flunk out of the 3rd grade!

At day 3 we had nine Grade 1 & 2 embryos. Today, we still had nine, but only one had made it to full blast stage, and it is a grade 2. We transferred it along with two grade 2 morulas and one grade 3 early-blastocyst. So we transferred four!!! It sounds aggressive, but the Dr felt that the risk of high multiples was so slight that it was worth it.

They're going to watch the rest, but two of them are unlikely to make it (they're only 5 & 7 cells today) - we'll have to hope for the other three to progress enough to be frozen.

Afterwards I went to my acupunturist and fell asleep on the table listening to a woman telling me to imagine my uterus as the perfect home for my embryos... I'll try to keep envisioning this during the 2ww.

Baby4gerbee - sounds like a BFP!

wannabe - great number on your ER! I hope you get a great fert report tomorrow...

Hi Ladies!!

ashxl- I'm so sorry!

Carla, bmwolf, and adwkm- Praying for those two dark lines!! Don't forget...I didn't get more than a faint line until the day of my beta. And even then it wasn't that dark. My beta was almost double of how much hcg the hpt registered too!

Kelb- Congrats on the BFP!!! Praying that your next beta more than doubles!

Indie- I definitely agree on the spa idea!! That would have been great!

Erin- Hope your first day back to work wasn't too stressful!

Mandy- Hoping you get to start your stims tonight!

Mary Lee- I almost fell off my couch when I read your post! I'm sure after it sinks in that there's twins you'll be able to enjoy the excitement of it! Just one miracle after another!

margie- Congrats on being PUPO with triplets!!

Molly- Woohoo!! Praying you get to hear one or two heartbeats next week!

wannabeamomma- 10 eggs is great!! Hope you're feeling well!

AMF728- They'll be able to see how many beans are in there (unless one is hiding!). You may be able to see the heartbeats, but sometimes you may not (could just be too early). I know the wait is awful!!

Jessica- I don't know how you're holding out! I totally caved before my beta! Praying for your BFP!

Leora- Congrats on being PUPO with quads!!

Megz- I'd wait till the weekend. It's probably too early . When I tested to early and saw a negative it wasn't easy! (even though it turned out positive!)

AFM, another 2ww till my next u/s...ughhh! DH and I went to dinner last night. It was so great to get out and act "normal"! I really needed it! At work today one of my coworkers asked if I was pregnant! Of course I said no...no way I'm telling anyone yet! I blamed it on my pager being on my waistband and making my shirt stick out more. I know I put on a few pounds from the stims...but come on! I'm only 6 weeks! I have a really small frame, so I'm hoping that those few pounds are just more noticeable?!

Have a great night!!

Courtney

I'm waiting on the POAS until after the Beta too. I just figure I've seen enough single lines on those stupid things, I'd rather wait for the official results to keep my neurotic thoughts focused on the results of the Beta versus all of the sticks. (also I have no courage...god bless those of you who are brave enough!)

I bet are you are preggo! the smell thing is definitely a symptom. Since I've never been pg before I don't know how my body will react or what symptoms I'll have. I'm sure I'll just question everything that I sense and feel until the big day.

Hang in there....you are just 1 day away from the big results! Good luck tomorrow!
