bmwolf - that the hpt is wrong and that you get your BFP today . I know I am not out of the woods yet, but my + wouldn't have shown up on the day of beta... and even the day after it was so light that dh and I really questioned the validity of the test.

Adk - I am so sorry that you got the news you did . Praying you get your BFP real soon!!

Wannabe - Good luck with ET tomorrow!! Sending lots of your way.

AFM - So, now I am officially addicted. I POAS again this morning, this time a Clear Blue Digital I have been saving for 2 years. Our first month of TTC my period was late by 5 days and I bought a double pack and swore I wouldn't never use the other one until I knew I was going to see that screen flash up w/ pregnant... and this morning it did !! Praying so hard that it continues.

Well, I've completely ruined my day LOL First I got all steamed at the pharmacy today since they couldn't get my refill right and charged me double what they were supposed to....it was CRAZY. But anyhow, since I'd ran out of test I figured I'd buy a 3 pack of FRER and take one...just to reassure myself.

Well, I had peed before I went to the pharmacy at 10:30 and then got home at 11:30 and while my mind was saying NO, DON'T DO IT....YOUR URINE IS TOO DILUTE. I did it anyway and got a faint line

I'm so afraid that I'm repeating last year now....should the HPT be light this far after BETA if I have a lot of HCG in my urine? Or is an hour worth of urine not going to show up dark no matter how much HCG is in your blood?

By my calculations (my RE doesn't do anymore than 2 BETA's) but anyway....if it was 254 on Monday, it should be around 1016 today.....ugghhh, I hate this waiting and the fact that I feel like my husband jinxed me along with all the stress that I've not been able to shake. Now I'm afraid to take another HPT...but of course I won't be able to stop myself LOL

I can't believe I didn't wait 4 hours to POAS....I get what I deserve I guess.

A sad day...

Well, it is official. My beta number came in at only 1.6. My other levels looked okay. I'm wondering if they actually took a beta when I was there on the 30th because my RE felt that the number was probably higher and now on its way down and that I probably had a chemical. She felt like implantation was achieved, but it just didn't continue to develop. I can't help but wonder if my autoimmune issues and my positive ANA could be to blame. Anyway, she wants me to come back in on Monday just to be sure and then I guess I'll see where to go from there. I am devestated and wonder how you pick yourself back up? Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for all of your support.

I am sorry-I really don't have any words of wisdom only my own experience with chemicals and the one thing I felt was "ok, I can get pregnant, now how are we going to keep it" so now they seem to throw everything and the kitchen sink at me to make it stick. I hope maybe your RE can shed some light on that for you and I you are able to get a .

Indie-I am sorry you are stressing out like this but it's probably like you said, just diluted urine-maybe call your RE for advice and wait at least 4 hours before doing this again

Brandy, I'm so sorry. I dealt with this last year and it's so hard to do another cycle with this always in the back of your mind. I actually took a HPT everyday after ER just to see the trigger leave my system last cycle. I saw the HPT go positive after the trigger was gone for 3 days straight and then go back negative...it was devastating to say the least. Took me a full year to emotionally and financially afford another cycle and still I am so worried about chemicals or losing the baby before the 1st trimester that I can't enjoy my pregnancy due to previous experience.

I know that one thing that helps me though is concentrating on something else. It's really really hard....but you have to make yourself busy with something else like planning a vacation later in the year or another project that you've been meaning to get to. Keeping busy helped me pass the time after my chemical and helped me to slowly get over it.....but still you have to grieve in your own way for the loss, don't just tuck it away.

Praying for you! I really am truly sorry...and know exactly how you feel.

I can't believe it!

I had my beta this morning, and my clinic called with a !
I asked what the number was and the nurse said, "Honey-you are pregnant, it was 500!"

I'm stunned...still.

Well, I waited 4 hours and POAS again. It's much lighter than it was earlier this week. I'm pretty sure it's going down

I'm just sick....I think I'll go in locally on Monday if I can and get a BETA test so I won't have to drive 2 hours for the U/S on the 14th.

I can't believe that I'm watching the HPT's get lighter again...just like last year. I really wish my RE would have done 3 BETA's just to make sure it was still headed upward....but nothing I can do now.

I'm still having some brown cm type spotting, cramping and last night was the first night I didn't have the evening nausea.....so we will see.

Praying for you all, continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers as well please.

INDIE - listen to me, you CANNOT tell you are losing your pregnancy by an hpt.

I understand where you are coming from - I have spent over $100 on hpt's and take them all the time - you might be using a different test or a different batch of the same test.

Please, please remain positive.
