Tomorrow is my 3rd beta and I am really nervous and anxious! I POAS again this morning an it is still clearly positive, but fainter than I would expect it to be for 19dpER (I haven't tested since Friday and that was w/ CBE digital). I used Clear Blue Easy plus/minus this morning! Anyone with experience with this HPT? Of course I have been stressing all day since it wasn't as dark as I would have liked it... or maybe it was! I took the test at 6:30am, saw that it was positive and then went back to bed til 8:30. I was looking at it again when I got up at 8:30 and started to think it should be darker... so wish I had paid more attention at 6:30!! Did it fade? I have got to relax. This craziness cannot be good. So many that my beta has continued to triple or even double!!

if im pregnant should i be having any symtoms by now?

Have had some symptoms... such as cramping, bloating, some heart burn, fatigue, sore boobs. But only problem is that each of these can ALSO be caused by all the medication we are on... So one cant really tell... the blood test is the only real indication of the HCG levels... and more importantly, that they shd increase at a certain rate ... and then tat you shd see a heart beat at around 6 weeks.

... (sigh)... unfortunately, through my experience I know that its a LONG journey... and getting a positive and decent size HCG is only the very first step. So am celebrating only cautiously... trying not to get too attached to the immediate result, but praying for the longer-term result of having a healthy baby!

All the best to everyone waiting for their betas this week.... hope we get loads of BFPs!

Hi anj..I'm 8dp3dt and didnt know that cramping/bloating/fatigue could be an early symptom of pregnancy..I was feeling those things and so nervous it meant i was going to get AF this week. I guess it could be the PIO as well but lets hope its from pregnancy!!

When I had the lighter test the other day I freaked out. I did a search online for lighter HPT's after positive BETA's and it came up with a LOT of sites where people got much much lighter (some almost negative looking) after positive and doubling BETA's....and they went on to have healthy babies. So maybe HPT's don't work so well once your HCG gets a bit higher? Or maybe they just have different amounts of dye in them....I know my lighter test were a different box bought from a different store.

I'm still really crampy and feeling like AF is going to come any minute. I'm praying that my baby makes it.....but do realize that positive and doubling BETA's are only the first step of a long long line of milestones we have to reach like Anj said.

Praying for you all

I would not recommend paying too much attention to "symptoms" of early pregnancy.... since, as I said... each of these symptoms can also be attributed to the medication. For e.g. sore boobs are very much from progesterone that we all take; cramping can be from the ovaries shrinking down after the ER.

Just take it a little easier than you would .... rest a little more, dont carry heavy stuff, and wait for the official bloodtest to confirm. Unfortunately, there is very very little (so the research says) that one can do once the embryos are inside you ... you just have to wait it out and see if they implant, and then if they do, if the continue to grow.

This is my third IVF... and perhaps some cynicism and caution has set in. This time around, Im not going to be telling anyone (not even parents) till past my first trimester; and not even thinking baby names or anything. Its heartbreaking when you get attached... and Im right now living from day to day -- with great appreciation of having reached a new day and still preggo.

Right now ... still waiting for my official beta (tomorrow)... had another "PREGNANT" on my CBE digital. So yaay for today... i may be preggo !

great betas to all waiting this week !!!

are you planning on going for a third bloodtest ? I thnk you are right about not paying too much attention to the lightness of the lines ... I read thru all the HPTs I had (the EPT with lines)... and nothing in the description said anything about how faint or dark the lines shd be. Hang in there !!

I was going to go in today for another BETA but seriously I'm thinking I'll just leave it up to God. I mean, if I go in and it's a slower BETA I'll be worried, even though it's normal to slow down a bit around 6 weeks. And if I go in and it's going down....I'll just be depressed about the upcoming AF. If it's where it's supposed to be, I'd feel secure again....but for how long? I mean every day and every twinge is a reason to worry after having a failed cycle....so again I think I'm going to just take it day by day and pray I make it to my U/S on the 14th and it's a good one.

I don't know...the unknown is so hard to deal with, but paying for another BETA when there is nothing I can do about the results just didn't appeal to me when I woke up this morning. My husband asked if I'd taken another test this morning and I said absolutely NOT. I will not be POAS again....even though I ordered 25 last week and they should be here this week....I plan on trashing them before I even have time to open the package LOL They were only 6.00 and wasting that much to save my sanity seems okay LOL
