Bridget-I think it is so funny that you had to trigger at the prom. I also had a similar situation I had to do my trigger at my niece's high school graduation. I thought that I was clear because everyone was so into the graduation but right before I gave my shot a lady walked in. I guess I should have been in a stall. She probibly thought I was shooting up or something. Also congrats on the 7 embryos.

Lauren-I am also in agreement that a yearly pap is very important. You should talk to your OB. I am a L/D nurse so I work with many obgyn's. I know some will do them and some won't when you are pregnant. Personally mine doesn't. If I had a history then she may but she prefers not to stir anything up if she doesn't have to.

jp1981-I also am taking vaginal progesterone after ER. I am taking Crinone Gel. It is a once a day thing which I like so much better. I did prometruim supp with my first cycle that were 3 times a day. It sucked. Every RE does things differently. My RE explained it to me that when you take it vaginally it goes exactly were it needs to in supporting the pregnancy. I will take him at his work, he has really good success rates.

AFM- The 2ww is going good. I still think about it everyday and counting down the days. I also spoke with the clinic today and found out that 2 of the 3 embies made it to blast and were frozen on Sat. We now have 2 snow babies too. I am really excited. None of our embryos from our last cycle made it to freezing.

Anyone refridgerated Ganirelix? When my meds arrived last week I didn't even think to look, I just assumed the storage directions were the same as the last couple of cycles. Well, this afternoon I was looking at the ganirelix and it says to store at room temp. (77 degrees). Now I am kinda thinking I messed up! Anyone know?

Also, tonight is my last night for BCP... we are finally moving on to stims this Saturday

Thanks for the well wishes through the 2ww!! We are nervous about triplets, but we figure that we're young and healthy, and we'll be grateful for whatever God gives us. Even though 3 was on the "more" side for us, we know that we still have a long way to go- nothing is for sure!!

Jessica: How is your 2ww going? How are you keeping busy? I might need some ideas Can you pls move me to the 2ww list? I'm on there until June 12th...

I am very new to this and don't know all of the abbreviations. I do know that I am looking for some support and trying to stay positive through all of this.
Here is a little bit about me:
Me: 40,
Hubby:40
Sept. 19, 2009: married!!!!!!
10/09 started with RE at MGH, dx: stage 3/4 endo and ovarian cysts.
2/09 cysectomy and laproscopy
5/09 pass clomid challenge test. insurance approval
5/23 start BCP in prep for IVF flare protocol
Lupron starts 6/14..ER/ET start around 6/24

Looking for any support, advice, success stories!! thanks so much..I will try to learn the lingo

I would get in contact with someone ASAP. When are you supposed to take the ganirelix? When the lady at the pharmacy called to confirm my order she emphasized that it should not be refrigerated because it would ruin it. I don't know how soon you need them but I use shrafts pharmacy they always ship overnight and I didn't have to pay any extra.

Welcome MAK27! I am from Central Mass and using RSC for IVF. This is also my first cycle.

Hi ladies. I need to vent. I just got a call from my Dr as I was leaving work. He said he's worried I may get OHSS again. My E2 levels are right where they were for my last cycle. There is a good chance they will freeze all my embryo's on Wednesday. ER is tomorrow. The decision will depend on 3 things. 1. How many eggs he retrevies, 2. How they fertilize, 3. How I'm feeling. He really sounded like he was leaning towards freezing all of them. Last time we froze at blast stage. He said freezing early is better for the embryo's when doing an FET. Last time my blasts didn't survive well. I'm nervous and I am just praying with all my heart they don't get as many eggs and that I feel great after the ER. I'm scared though. If my E2 are the same as last time, I don't know why they'd get less eggs. Sorry to be such a downer, I just can't believe this may be happening again. I should know forsure on Wednesday morning what the outcome is. If any of you are ladies of faith, please pray that I can do the fresh transfer and don't get OHSS.

Sorry for the selfish post. I truly hope everything works out for everyone else.

So tonight was my second night using the GonalF, my dose is 150U per night and the pen is 300 units. My nurse said a pen would be for 2 shots, i had my second shot tonight and it looks like there is fluid for a 3rd shot? I mean i could be wrong it does appear that way. She did say that they put extra fluid in the GonalF pens but just wondering if its that much extra? If anyone has any feedback it would be great! Also any symptoms while on stims and what day did they start? i know its way to early but so far i feel no different.
Jessica-hope you are doing well. Thanks for the reply about the prometrium, i have the pills, the jel sounds easier. The 3x a day must be hard while at work? Luckly i can go home for lunch? I am more nervous about doing those right then about the injections! DH is in charge of the injections so i will have no one to blame.
