Rachel-i cant even immagine how you must feel having gotten that call, just given that the Dr just tells you that but cant explain the "why" part. How are you feeling? are you having any symptoms other the E2 levels? Where you being monitored closely prior to today? Given my age my Dr has been moving my cycle very slowly, i was on lupron for 2 weeks before starting stims and am only on GonalF 150U once a day and nothing else...I asked why and they said its beacouse of my age they try to see how you respond to less medicine first. Not sure how much you are taking. Sorry I am no help but I will pray that your ER goes well. Try to get some rest and not stress over it as stress can have a negative impact just try to stay positive and hopefully it will all work out. Please keep us posted.

Thanks for replying. I've been on a lower dose than last time. (first cycle was 200 follistim, this cycle I was 75 follistim and 75 menopur). They monitored me so closely. I've been there every day since last Thursday. My levels just went nuts I guess. I trust my RE completly. I just wish he would have prepared me for this possibilty. I finally felt like I'd been though everything so they finally knew what to do without this happening. I'm laying down and going to bed early and praying with all my heart. At this point that's all I can do. Thank you again for your reply. I so appreciate you guys and I don't even know you!!!! Maybe there will be a miracle and things will be okay. My DH is so sad of this possibility. It breaks my heart for him.

OMG!!!!! I can't believe this is happening to you again.....I'm so sorry. I would have thought with such a low dose everything would have been ok. I know you must be so stressed right now. I'm hoping because you are feeling great this time everything will be fine. I'll be for no OHSS and a fresh ET Wednesday.

Hi ladies...I'm joining from the May board as I just got my BFN today for my 6th IVF cycle....June will be my (gulp!) 7th round overall (or let's say 3rd for baby #2...doesn't sound as scary). Trying to keep positive but it gets hard when we are spending a mini fortune. Fortunately, having Trey really helps on days like these and I know we are already blessed.

Just waiting for and then will be stimming.

Work has blocked this website so I don't get on daily but looking forward to cheering everyone on.

March 2010 sounds like an excellent time to have a baby, right?

Hey there...actually my hubby and just finished doing the follistim pen shot, I had to up my dose from 225 to 300 and thought that we would run out. Much to my surprise we did an extra 75 units from the same pen and it still looks like there is a bit more in the pen. So im thinking that there is 100 extra at least in the follistim pen. Hope it helps some!

Well I triggered at 8:45pm and have to be to RE's office Wednesday at 7:40am for ER. I am just so excited, I can't believe how fast this has all gone!!! I just wish the 2ww went this fast but.....

Wannabeamomma, Thanks for sharing, I am a little freaked out but I'll deal. It's just crazy because it will be a year since my last Pap this week. I am surprised I didn't get a reminder card. My RE's office is part of a OB/GYN group so maybe they can do it for me? I'm going to ask tomorrow.

MLM, Thanks for the welcome! I agree with farler, plan to be lazy on your stims. I think I did fine I went to 2 BBQ's on the 2nd day of stims most of my other days were work days but I still went to the gym, and this past Sat day 7, DH and I had dinner at another couples house. Sun I went to visit my aunt in the hospital and cooked dinner for DH and my mom. So the stims haven't held me back much, I wasn't really moody either which I was really nervous about. Everyone responds differently but its best to see how things play out and not put any expectations on yourself.

Krista, Keep the faith! I thought I was going to get cancelled for poor response, I had 4 follies on day 5 and 7 follies on day 6. Have you been with the same RE for your previous cycles? Maybe the RE just figures they can watch your developement an tweek your protocol better this way.

Heather & Rachel, Glad the OHSS is at bay! that things stay slow and steady.

AFM, The Novarel Trigger was not so bad. I stressed a little because I had to mis 3 cc of water into the powder and its hard to draw a full 3 cc's into a 3 cc syringe with no air. Also the vials are bigger than the ones for my Menopur and the needle doesn't reach the bottle so I couldn't draw every last drop once it was mixed. And after DH gave me the injection a little leaked out of the injection site. I hope in the end that a little lost medicine isn't going to make a difference but It's driving me nuts!! Its strange to not really have any meds today, just the antibiotics.

My follistim was a pen and had a full extra dose in 2 of the cartriges. I think I accidentally gave my self too much one night because I saw how much was left and thought the pen wasn't working right.

For what its worth, DH and I were a little shaky right before we started stims too. DH hasn't been following the calendar and it kind of snuck up on him. I think we both got nervous. but we just went ahead and things fell back into place. I'm not saying we aren't still nervous, its new to us too. But the 2 of you made the decision to do this and it must be something you really want. sometimes you just have to jump in.

I have 8 that are right at the size they need to be, and about 8 more that are smaller. It's undecided whether they will let me go another day without triggering..
