I went for bloodwork/ultrasound this morning, and the nurse gave me the trigger instructions and drew a target on my butt so we know exactly where to put the needle. Rachel: I'm so sorry to hear this. My RE had the same conversation with me and I was so frustrated to be so close and felt like I couldn't wait any longer. That you won't get OHSS and that you won't have to freeze!

Hey coley! I am sooooo ready to get this party started!! LOL.. Wow, 14 days on the stims! That's insanity! LOL.. No wonder you are ready to go.. I would be too! I too am waiting for my call.. If no phone call, I go another night of stims and probably trigger tomorrow night.. Today makes 10 days of stims, but 30 days of the Lupron.. So, I've been taking shots every day for a month! I don't know what I will do with myself if I don't have to worry about taking any more shots.. LOL... Wow! Great follie count!! I pray that all of them fertilize and you have tons to work with! Yeah, I hate that different techs seem to measure differently.. Sometimes I have 8, sometimes 25.. LOL.. But, I guess all that matters is how many they get at the end and we hope that they are healthy enough to grow into strong embies that will stick on for dear life! I will for you too, and let me know when you hear back from the doctor and I will do the same! 's, here we come!! (with any luck at all..)

Rachelannsauer, so sorry to hear about the OHSS.. The RE has you on a low protocal, that it's hard to imagine ending up in the same situation.. I will really hard that you can do a fresh transfer, and not have to freeze all of them for a later date.. to you..

I have been lurking on the May thread for awhile to watch how all the ladies ahead of us are doing. It's so exciting to see all the BFP's and so sad for those with BFN's. It almost makes me to anxious to look anymore because then you start thinking "where will I fall into this catagory"....and then that desperate feeling comes over you.
I was very calm about all of this while I was on the Lupron. Now that I'm on the stim's I feel nervous. I don't know if it's the meds or if it's because were going into the home stretch and there is only a few more weeks of hoping before we get the results.
I wonder if there has ever been a month where all the girls got BFP's....probably not but for our month to be the first!

I have a question, that I know is probably really stupid but it's been driving me crazy. Is it remotely possible for the embryos to slip out?? I had my ET and laid down for 30 minutes and was released to use the restroom. The RN mentioned that I might notice a little moisture and it was the media that the RE used with the cathader (sp?). Before I flushed, I noticed a little white clump in the toilet and it didn't phase me. But, now it's all I can think about... did my little embies fall out??

I also decided to try and update the list with my 2ww status, but had difficulty with the colors. I really hope I didn't mess up anything!!

Last transfer we had no rest after ET. As soon as the RE transfered the embryo's they had our surrogate get up. Well, she almost hit the floor (literally) when she got up to use the bathroom. I thought for sure the embryo's fell out. I didn't expect a BFP but, weeks later we got a BFP but it just didn't last. Our RE said your uterus is like a peanut butter sandwich. So I think your OK and didn't pee out your embryo's

There are so many people for me to reply and comment to - I dont even know where to start.

Golden & Coley - So excited for your ER !! Thinking good thoughts for you. Can't wait to be where you are.

Rachel - I your OHSS stays away and you can move forward. Keep the faith. I am thinking of you.

SweetPrincessLauren - I am so so sorry if I freaked you out. I feel terrible if I did. Don't worry. Talk to your OBGYN and RE and they will calm your fears.

Caty - this whole process is so stressful on a marriage. My DH and I have become the Bickersons so often lately. But the bottom line is...you are a team and in this together. You will have the ups and downs - just keep communicating. All will be ok. To make you laugh - I screamed at my DH for starting to make dinner w/o me. He started chopping the onions and I screamed at him as if he ran over the dog with the car or something (GOD FORBID). And the kicker - I am not even on Lupron or my stims yet - LOL !!

AFM - Lupron starts tomorrow...moving from step 1 to step 2 - slowly but surely, I am getting there. Stupid question.....its been so long since I was on the pill. I feel like I have having Ovulation pains - but the pill is supposed to be suppressing my ovaries. Today I am cycle day 14. I have no EWCM, like I normally would - but am freaking myself out that maybe I am not suppressing like I should. Should I assume that the Lupron will take over tomorrow and make sure my ovaries and follies are at rest ????

heather - that's awesome you used a surrogate. we're prepping for that so if we get any frozen embryos and my ivf fails we can still use them for surrogacy.

after my bcp, i bled from basically tuesday-sunday...i even had some spotting yesterday. the doctor didn't seem concerned.

in my ivf training, she told us that they actually had a group study where they had women do jumping jacks after their ET to test whether or not it did anything to the embryos - bottom line was...they can't fall out so you're safe. but i'd totally think that had i not heard about this study.

I started stims on day 2 of my period. I was never on BCP's so I had a full period and have had my period this whole time I've been on stims...Fun! Are you going in for supression check Wed?

Last cycle I started 3 days after I stopped BCP's. This time I wasn't on Lupron and didn't start until the 5th day after BCP's. I did get to start my stims on day 4 though....so they didn't hold it up because of the missing I just had my first scan today and she's still hanging around....it's day 4 though, so I have one more day and she'll be gone for atleast 9 months

JP - they definitely have extra fluid in the Gonal-F pen...I think 75IU extra. The first time I took Gonal-F, I had a bit of queasiness, but it went away after a few days. The bloating takes a few days to start. BTW, I am at RSC as well.
