Wannabe, I had EWCM and slight cramps/pains while taking the Lupron and I totally freaked out and called the nurse. I could have sworn I was ovulating on my own! It really did feel/look like it. They said it was totally normal and I wasn't ovulating. But by all means, tell your doc if you are concerned! It can't hurt to ask, right?? My clinic doesn't get worked up about discharge or bleeding--they said it's all part of the process and every woman responds differently!

so i have a cold. have any of you had a cold during the ivf process? should i take tylenol cold or something to fight it off before the actual egg transfer, etc? or will that hurt the egg quality before my ER?

ugh i'm so frustrated and afraid it will affect implantation. i'm only on day 4 of stims so maybe now is the best time to take some meds?

Well, today was my first scan since starting stims on Friday. I had 7+ follicles on the left side that were between 6-7 and then I had 8+ on the right side (there were hardly any measurable on Friday's baseline) and they were between 5-6.....so good I think?

I'm still a bit freaked out though. Last cycle she told me I'd need 12 Menopur and I ran low, had to beg, borrow and steal (not really steal...LOL) to get those extras. So this time she again says I need 12 and I'm thinking....well since I'm not going to be on Lupron...12 should be plenty (but I got 15). Now I'm scared that it won't be. So I'm waiting on the nurse to call and let me know if there are any changes in the meds....if not, back to begging and borrowing LOL

I really pray I don't have to go 11 days this time though....how much do follicles usually gain over a day? I mean I know everyone is different in their progression, and meds/dosage.....but I'm on a relatively high dose I think (300 Gonal, 150 Menopur) a night, and from Friday till today I've had some show up on that right ovary that weren't even there....or measurable.

Uggghh, the stress never ends does it.

holy cow, you ladies have been busy! I went in for my scan today, we are still waiting for my bw results to come back. As for my scan I have 4 on the right side 8,10,11,13 & 2 on the left 9 & 11. I think they may change my meds when they call with my results.

I am so glad to see everyone moving on. Good luck to all those who are in 2ww going for er or et.

Oh I meant to add that the RE had written AH for assisted hatching on my chart.....I didn't have this last time, nor did we have ICSI. Does AH really help?

I had a bad cold last cycle, and even had a fever with it The nurse seemed unconcerned when I phoned though...as long as it stayed a low grade fever, she said take tylenol and feel better. I got it right after ET. I don't think Tylenol hurts embryo quality....but I'd call my nurse and talk to her about it if I were you just so I felt safer taking it.

I hear that. My throat is scratchy right now, and I'm coughing like crazy! I'm still suppressing-don't start Gonal F until likely Friday. I'm just toughing it out-lots of fluids and rest. Probably good for me anyways right now.

If it doesn't calm down in a couple days, I bet your clinic won't have a problem with antibiotics. Just ask them. In the meantime, hope you feel better soon!

Hi girls,
I am sooooo sorry if I seem all over the place...probly because I am. Ever since I started Lupron I have been a complete mess!!! I have read how others have no symptoms and thought it was me overreacting. I have been super tired, so upset cry cry cry. and tons of vivid dreams. Like I am on acid. lol. I am on 20units once a day. I will ask if all is normal on Wed. I am not sure if they will do a supression check then, but I was told to bring my big box of meds so DH can learn how to give me all the other shots. I am to start stims on FRi.
I just want yall to know how thankful I am to be able to come to a place where everyone is on my side. You girls are true superwomen!! And I am so excited for each of us! All my friends dont get it and If I hear ...If its ment to be it will happen...one more time I will scream. Thanks again!

Hi Ladies,

Well I had my ER yesterday and 10:30 and we have 10 mature eggs . After the procedure dh and I went out to eat at Applebees and I got a salad. WRONG thing to do. I felt so sick after eating. We had to go get my PIO filled so I could start it tonight and I threw up in the parking lot twice, on the car ride home (in car), and on side of the road. When we got home I went straight to bed. I was really sore in my tummy and a heating pad works GREAT. Late last night I finally was able to keep something down, so I'm feeling a little better to and not as sore. I will let you know when I get the fert report for the RE sometime today .

I read yesterday that they grow 1 to 2 mm per day. Google it you'll find a ton of info from other fertility clinics.

JP - they definitely have extra fluid in the Gonal-F pen...I think 75IU extra. The first time I took Gonal-F, I had a bit of queasiness, but it went away after a few days. The bloating takes a few days to start. BTW, I am at RSC as well.

My RE prescribes the 450 multidose and you can usually get 650 out of it. I'm glad they overfill it....I'm on 300 a night and like that I can get 2 shots out of each vial.

We have a 2 hour ride home and last cycle I threw up about 6 times on the way home. I was soooo sick. This time the nurse already called me in Zofran for the ER day....YAY!!!

I am on a much lower dose of Lupron-only 5units for 2 weeks and then dropped to 2 1/2 units during stims. I have been having restless sleep so far and I remember last time having vivid dreams. So your not crazy...but get off the acid...LOL!!!
