Heart IVF in North Carolina?

Hi everyone! The IVF in SC thread inspired me to start this one. Anyone else in NC going through IVF? I'd love to hear from ladies nearby!

Smile NC here too

Hi,

I am doing an ivf cycle at this time, though it isnt going well. However if this one does not work out, we will try again next month and go from there. I live in the outskirts of Raleigh and go to Carolina Conceptions. They are great doctors. Anyway good luck to you and hope there will be babies in your future and mine.

Good luck ladies! There are a few of us in NC (there was another thread but it kind of fizzled) I am outside Charlotte. I went to a local RE for all my IUIs. I am currently trying to qualify for the clinical trial for IVF in New York though. If I do not qualify, I will try again here at home.

Just wanted to say hi and good luck on your upcoming cycles!!!

I go to REACH too. I'm hoping all their experience pays off on me . I've been happy with all the REs I've met over there (usually under awkward circumstances ie. stirrups ). The nurses are great too. Good Luck everybody!

I'm new to this site and from Burlington, NC. I'm not new to IVF & ART unfortunately.

I'm just poking around this site to see if it is a good fit for me.

Hi. My husband and I tried REACH for one cycle and were so disappointed at their lack of organization, compassion and inability to communicate. My nurse sent me an EMAIL to tell my the cycle was unsuccessful. Really? An email? That was in July. Here we are in October and I have yet to hear from the dr, the nurse, or anyone at REACH. We've switched to Dr. Yalcinkaya at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for our 2nd cycle and are thrilled. While I think we just signed up at REACH with the wrong doctor and certainly the wrong nurse, if you're in NC and want a pleasant IVF experience, go see Dr. Yalcinkaya and his team.

Hey there ladies - I'm in Charlotte and am at REACH as well. Dr. Crain is my doctor and Mary is my nurse. The doctors I have seen are not exactly touchy feely but seem to know what they're doing. So far, my experience has been really good ... I just got my beta today (72) so I'm pretty excited! I wonder how many times we've passed each other in the lobby!!
