IVF in central Jersey??
Hi everyone as you can see I've been on the board for awhile. I just finished my 2nd IVF cycle with a BFN, and am now searching for a new RE. I was with IVF NJ and was on their max of stims my 2 cycles and was a poor responder both times. So I am ready to see what else is out there for my last attempt (maybe a different protocol or new ideas). Anyone in central Jersey (Trenton area) have any recommendations of practices you like or have had success with????

Jenn me-34 DOR -high FSH (15 in 2007)(11 in 2009) dh-35 low morph (4%) TTC 2yrs naturally  2 IUI's IVF #1 July 2007 7/10 only 5 follies 7/17 ER-4 eggs 7/18 all 4 fertilized (ICSI) 7/20 ET (transferred 1-8 cells and 2-6 cells) 7/31 1st Beta- 202  OMG!!8/3 2nd Beta- 500  8/5 3rd Beta- 1275  8/13 1st u/s- 1 little pea with a heartbeat! DS arrived March 27, 2008 IVF #2 same protocol(450 gonal-f & 150 menapur no BCP) ER 4/11/09 4 eggs again (ICSI and AH) ET 4/14 (1 8-cell and 1 6-cell) Beta #1 4/24 -20 Beta #2 4/27 -21IVF #3 w/ EPP-June/July 09 6/22/09 start estrace 2 X day 7/6/09 only 3 follies on left (wth?!) 7/10/09 converted to IUI 7/12/09 converted back to IVF(3 more popped up) 7/14 ER 7/17 ET (1-8cell A, 1-8cell C, 1-7cell B) Beta #1 7/28 90 Beta #2 7/30 183Beta #3 8/3  9001st u/s 8/10 saw 1 gest and yolk sac!! 2nd u/s 8/17 we have a heartbeat 3rd u/s 8/31 baby waving at us!

well i say go to SIRM .. it in bediminister every one in my family has been there and had luck!!! 1 singleton for me so far mf n secondary IF..im cycling right nowagain...cousin got trips she had dor high fsh n ttc in late 30's and the other twins pcos late 30's

I'm new to these boards and I'm not sure if you've found a new RE but I am with Princeton IVF and Delaware Valley OBGYN in Lawrenceville. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!! DR Derman is who I see but I've met the other DR. Hilzenrath and she is just as great. They do everything in house and have to locations Lawrenceville and Plainsboro. DH had an appointment with NJ IVF for SA and I found them extremely unorganized and we ended up not having any testing with them.

Hi Lauren, thats really funny what you you say about IVF NJ. My OB recommended a doc in IVF NJ and I really liked her. I did get that same experience that they are a very busy practice and if your not on top of your treatment it can seem hectic and unorganized. But they gave me my son so I decided to stick with them for IVF #2. I did look into Princeton IVF because I worked with both Dr. Derman and Dr. O'Shaunessey at my job (I'm an OR nurse), and wanted to see Dr. O'Shaunessey (we had talked about everything while going through my cycle at IVF NJ). I have done alot of reading on our "issues" and my doc at IVF NJ is willing to try the estrogen priming protocol with me, and I'm comfortable with the staff there now, so I am going to try my 3rd cycle with them again. Thanks for your response. If I have a poor reponse to this protocol though, I will be making an appt with Princeton IVF. Thanks. And good luck to you!!
