Who else felt sick to their stomach? I feel like I have two giant footballs wedged into my abdomen that poke me when I walk and I feel sick! Not sick enough to actually throw up- but sick enough to not be happy about it!
I think maybe Allyson did? Ug- so ready for tomorrow! 3times- glad to hear not everyone gets the rash. Has anyone gotten one from stims??

I know someone mentioned this before but I can't find it. When you're saying _dp3dt, do you count the day of transfer as day 1? So since my transfer was on Sunday, I would be 3dp3dt or 2dp3dt?
PG_Florida: I don't plan to POAS before my pregnancy test which is scheduled for 8/21. We'll see if that changes before next week.

Here I am day 5 of stims I feel little twinges and a full feeling that I do not remember from my other cycles. I hope that is a good thing. Not much time tonight to chat maybe later I will do personals.

My first beta!
My beta was supposed to be tomorrow, but I have had this horrible urinary tract infection that hasn't gone away with antibiotics. I ran out of meds today, so the RE told me to come in for a urine culture. It turns out that I still have a bad one based on the preliminary results. They will call me tomorrow and tell me what antibiotic they will change me to. Anyway, the patient coordinator asked me if I had "cheated" and taken an HPT yet. When I told her I had, she said "well the, why don't we just draw your blood right now so you won't have to come all the way back out here tomorrow." I certainly wasn't going to argue with that offer! I had fooled myself into believing that I would stop worrying as much once I heard my beta result, but now I'm just going to freak out even more until Thursday so I can find out if they doubled. So the results from beta number 1 are... wait for it... 348!
 I am officially  . They said that for 10dp3dt they were hoping for at least 50 but higher than 75 if possible. So that sounds like a pretty decent beta to me. It's 3 times my first beta last time I was pregnant. So now I will sit and tap my fingers until Thursday and keep saying my prayers!

Hey all, I am in my first IVF cycle and came across this thread. After reading I am hooked!
I am currently waiting to hear if I will have a 3dt tomorrow or a 5dt on Friday.... PIO is no fun, but I believe in no pain no gain! Went to acupuncture today and it relieved almost all of my pain from the ER.

I haven't gotten any rashes from the stims, but I did from Lupron. It was actually more like welts.
AFM- I wasn't able to start my stims on 8/6 due to my lining being 11.3mm. I returned to RE on 8/09 and my lining was 8.3, I have a thickened uterine lining and being my E2 (below 20) & Progestrone (0.6) I was able to start stimming Sunday night-Menopur 150 & Gonal-F 300 and my Lupron was lowered to 5u.I return tomorrow to the RE for b/w & us. I hope I'm responding well to the medications. I'm feeling more full than my last cycle and twinges in my ovaries. I hope that's a good sign. Wishing everyone the best with their cycle. Quote:

TTC since '07 2008 June, July, Aug - Clomid: BFN Nov - Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy (stage IV endometriosis, 2 fibroids, HUGE polyp in uterus - all removed) 2009 IUI#1 (Feb): BFN IUI#2 (April): BFN IUI#3 (May): BFN IVF#1 (August '09): 8/16 - ER 12 eggs, 11 mature 9 embies: 4 fertilized with IVF (4 of 6) & 5 fertilized with ICSI (5 of 5) 8/21 - 5dt hpt + (6dp5dt) 9/4 Hospitalized due to OHSS - on strict bedrest for 7-10 days 10 week ultrasound - I think it waved at me! 12 week ultrasound - Looks like a real person! Bouncing around and very active! Whoa... nobody warned me about ALL DAY morning sickness...

Ohss
Has anyone suffered from ohss (hypertimulation)? Pray that you don't! I had over 4L of fluid drawn off me today by needle aspiration. I felt horrible from the day after egg retrieval 8/4 until today when they finally relieved some of the pressure.
I hope this works after going through so much this time. And this baby girl will hear about how much trouble it was to have her for the rest of her life. I just pray she doesn't have the same problems I have with infertility.
